If they wanted to, Nintendo could make a Zelda MMO by reusing BOTW assets. The world is clearly big enough for hundreds of people to play on at a single time and they could turn the different races into their own classes. Just fill the world with more foes (ie Tektites, Like-likes, Gibdos, exc.) as well as proper dungeons and bosses and we'd be set. They could even have occasional giant over world bosses and holiday events. Lore wise, it could take place during the 100 years where Link is alsleep.

| TheEvilShadoo | I think that’s a really great idea! I have a few ideas but they don’t fit in if Link’s still sleeping. There could be like a point capture system where you had to take the towers for your team. Make the shrines into like loot caves with shorter challenges and add in some new items like maybe the hookshot. It would also be cool to control the divine beasts. Obviously a massive loot stash at hyrule castle, maybe add a platform to take control of the turrets/guardians around the castle. I really see a lot of cool potential. |
