For the longest time, I was stuck at The Dotwood Tree, but nowadays I can fly through it.

I used to struggle in The Dootwood Tree but like Ucantbeme, I can beat the chapter easily. Merlee’s basement took me a while but it wasn’t too hard. The hardest part for me was accepting that I didn’t have enough healing items for the final battle and having to backtrack through Bleck’s Castle.

I didn't really get stuck, SPM was fun but a bit too easy

i've always had trouble getting through that one maze towards the end of bleck's castle.

When I was younger, I was not familiar with the concept of turning down the volume, so I was never able to get past Chapter 2-4. The sudden change in music always acted like a jumpscare to me, and I had trouble with navigating quickly.

1-2, first time i played, i was either looking for thoreau or trying to figure out how to lift the bridge but i didnt manage to in time since it was a copy from the library so i guess it took me a few years to get past the second stage in the game

I didn't know how to get through Merlee's mansion on the last part. I couldn't figure out the maze of doors. I was also very scared of Mimi.

2-3 because I tried to run in that wheel long enough to get 1,000,000 Rubees without breaking into the safe... I was very young and couldn't figure it out :(

5-1 because I kept entering that stupid super long password wrong and the first time I played I had no clue what I was even supposed to do.

Lol yeah. Jasperoid makes you say please a few times. My advice is use pen and notepad, brah.

What I do is just pull up the Mario wiki and copy the password from that. Jasperoid is annoying and I never want to speak to him ever again brah.

Oh crag he was annoying. But I wrote down the passcode. I've played the game 3 times and wanted to actually complete it once without using any walkthroughs, so I did write his crag on my notepad brah.

That brings back some memories of my first time playing. I remember using a sheet of paper to record Jasperoid’s sequence of R’s L’s and M’s (right, left, middle) and Francis’s room codes (2323 and 2828).

mostly on chapter 5-1 with that block puzzle but i know better now same goes for chapter 2-3, 3-4,7-3 (which was hard but idk people hate it lol) and 8-4

Oh boy, if only you could see this thread now. It just doesn’t die...

One of my first run-throughs when I was a kid I remember getting stuck on 5-1 or 5-2, the one where you have to hit the blocks in a different order. I didn't think to go back and ask that one guy for a hint, so I remember having to look up YouTube tutorials and writing down the code on paper.

quite happy to see i wasn't the only one stuck on the tree, second part that took awhile for me was probably navigating the overthere
