I’m going to post my Origami King theory here before it’s released so I don’t get called a spoiler it this actually happens: My theory is that Olly isn't going to be the final boss... If he's Olivia's brother, then I just can't see him as the true antagonist. Maybe he's possessed, or maybe he was tricked into helping the real villain. This wouldn't be the first time something of this sort happened in a Paper Mario game. So, if this were to happen, I could see three possible outcomes: A bad ending where Bowser for some reason betrays you and becomes the final boss. A bland ending where the final boss is just a paper shredder... The final boss is something or someone else entirely

| Mr. L Productions | My theory (or at least I wish it would happen) is that King Olly unfolds to become DIMENTIO! I know it's a long shot because they don't usually bring back old RPG villains in later games (with the exception of Fawful from SS and BIS) but it would be a fun twist! |
| Dimentio24 | I've noticed a LOT of strange similarities between this game and my paper Mario fangame project. (Spoilers for Paper Mario: Interdimensional Destruction ahead). Dimentio was going to be revealed to be Rosalina's brother in the later part of the game. King Olly is the brother of Olivia, uses the same colour palette as Dimentio, and has similar hair to rosalina. Dimentio takes control of Peach's castle and moves it into his own world, and takes over the minds of everyone with a powerful virus created by professor E. Gadd, who ends up being the true final boss after Rosalina manages to convince Dimentio to join the heroes and he is released from the control of the virus. What if Olly is the same case? He already has the castle moved and origami folds instead of a virus, so what if Olly and Olivia aren't naturally folded? Perhaps somebody else folded them... Other similarities: A large world that is more connected than previous Mario games A bob-omb partner named bobby (I scrapped the one in the fangame because of too many partners) Multiple different battle tracks (I think OK has multiple different tracks after the big "red streamer battle theme" news |
