I found it a few years ago but only joined recently. Seems cool even for its rather low user count nowadays. Seems pretty novel though.

Yeah, it’s all cool enough for a fansite, but the reason why we stay is for the history of it and what could have been. Users left as forum sites naturally fell out of interest over time, but that was also largely due to the UI becoming a shell of its former self and ditching the fun things that once made it unique.
