It’s quite sad definitely. I’ve been drifting away from playing the newer Nintendo games (with Funky Kong on my Flame Runner) for a while now. I don’t think Mario really has much potential left anymore, especially after odyssey. Without a compelling story, a Mario game is just some new gimmick + platforming + level design. I think Nintendo’s best bet is either starting a new game line without making it feel forced or a Kirby game (where gimmicks = fun). I’ve got a craptop that barely runs Windows 10 to begin with, and it feels like it should have Windows Vista on it. I may be able to get a PC this winter though. The PC is definitely going to begin to monopolize gaming even more so now that Nintendo has befallen us.
