| TheEvilShadoo | reply to SPMFangirl & Muitfandom Trash posted 21 months ago Forums are completely useless on Nerr 3.0. Everything just gets dumped into All Posts anyway. They're pretty much just tags at this point. | |
| AlFuze 21 months ago | 3 | R u guys playing pokemon snap 2?? |
| TheEvilShadoo | 1 | Personally, no, but welcome back a year after your last post. |
| TheEvilShadoo 21 months ago | 1 | Mr. L and I have been thinking that Super Mario Party would be a good choice for the game we play for the June DigiTournament. Who here has SMP and is interested in joining in for next month’s tournament? |

| HyperFoofie | reply to AlFuze posted 21 months ago Yup, casually playing it. It's fun and relaxing to play it every now and then :). | |

| TheEvilShadoo | Welcome to digibutter! | |
| TheEvilShadoo | Oh boy, if only you could see this thread now. It just doesn’t die... | |
| TheEvilShadoo 21 months ago | 5 | Well, I had to take the dreaded FitnessGram™ Pacer test today. The last time I had to take it was 2 1/2 years ago (mainly because of Covid). Have any of you guys had to take it before? I got a 58 on it. Could have gone for a couple more laps if I really tried, but I have to be able to beat it next time. |
| Mr. L Productions | 2 | I have not done this before. However, over here, we have a thing called the "Bleep Test", which involves running lengths of increasing speed for as long as possible. At my school, I am always the last one standing. There's 21 levels, and I think I got pretty close. I got to about 17 or something. Each level contains around 6-10 lengths, increasing in lengths you have to do per level as well as at the faster speed between beeps. |
| TheEvilShadoo | 1 | Yeah, that’s essentially the same thing as what I took. That’s impressive! Good for you. I was the third last kid running in my class today. |
| Mr. L Productions | Oh cool. So in USA it's slightly different to UK then. Basically the same thing. That's cool. To be fair, I have a very small year group, most of which were not built for endurance running, whereas I've been doing long distance running for about 2-3 years now. The competition in your one was probably tougher than mine lol | |
| GamerKid | 1 | I've never heard of any of these |

| Dimentio21 | reply to GamerKid posted 21 months ago same | |
| AmbientGalaxy 21 months ago | 8 | so could someone explain the whole deal here to me? it seems kinda in-depth and i'm kinda lost |
| TheEvilShadoo | 7 | Sure. I’ll do my best to keep it short. So, digibutter.nerr was created back in 2007 as a reference to SPM. It started off as just a plain old forums site, but Francis, the creator, started adding in cool features like shops, jail, items, profile pages, etc... and the site had amassed a decently large amount of users. Eventually, digibutter 2.0 came around which was more of a friend-feed styled thing (sort of like Facebook) many users saw it as a downgrade for the most part. This is digibutter 3.0, the current state of the website. It works, and there’s a cool little community here, but it really isn’t the greatest feature and layout-wise when you compare it to how it could have been. Francis has been busy IRL for the past few years now, so he hasn’t had time to do anything with the site, but he hopes to come back to it again one day. For now though, we’re here, and we keep it pretty active. |
| AmbientGalaxy | 6 | thanks for the explanation. 1.0 sounds pretty cool, at least for it's time. anything else i should know? |
| TheEvilShadoo | 5 | Yeah, I wish 1.0 (or a more modern version of 1.0) were around today. As far as other stuff, there's a bunch of various other things that I could talk about here, but if you stick around for a while, you'll eventually get to know most of the ins and outs of digibutter. Seeing how I'm just bored at school right now though, I'll make a list of some useful info for you: **1.** Since March, the user Mr. L (formally Mr. L Productions) and I joint host monthly "Digibutter Tournerrments*" on the first Sunday of each month. I originally came up with the idea, and Mr. L streams them each time (speaking of that, he'd probably appreciate some channel promotion so here you go: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdlxK21YflrlRD1JgQxYdOg). They're a lot of fun, and they typically get anywhere from 3 - 7 participants. **2.** I created NerrBot: ReHatched last year. He's pretty useful. He's a recreation of the original NerrBot by Gold Prognosticus, an old user who pops in every so often. You can test commands out with him in the dump by using the command prefix !rh. **3.** /Text formatting,/ that's pretty fun. I made a guide on that a few months ago and linked it to #font (BTW, hashtagging technically creates a "forum" and links your post to it, but all posts feed into all posts anyway, so in most cases, there isn't really a point). **4.** The Betalands was Francis's attempt at a web MMO-platformer back in the 2.0 era. It's all locked down now, but I imagine that it was pretty cool. **5.** DigiWiki: https://digibutter.fandom.com/wiki/Main_Page . It hasn't been updated in years, but it's a pretty thorough archive of the drama that went on back in the 1.0 era. Mr. L and I have discussed forming a wiki restoration team over this summer. I tried to get some people together a couple of years ago, but no one was interested in it at the time. **6.** There's pretty much activity daily here, but it has its highs and lows. We've actually just had a pretty big activity spike which was nice. Mr. L, Tree, and I are probably the most active users here currently. That's pretty much all I can think of for now, but I'm sure I've forgotten one thing or another. Someone else can add on to this in a reply if they can think of anything else important. * Name has not yet been formally agreed upon. #new_user_stuff |
| AmbientGalaxy | 3 | alright, thanks, that's all i needed. this place is pretty cool though, like you have tournaments and a custom bot and everything, it's cool |
| TheEvilShadoo | 2 | Glad to have helped. We also have an unofficial Discord server if that’s something that you might be interested in. |
| NerrBot: ReHatched | Digibutter Unnoficial Discord (D.U.D.) official invite link: https://discord.gg/fRnV3kt | |
| AmbientGalaxy | sure i'll join it why not | |
| Mr. L Productions | Thanks for the promo | |
| AmbientGalaxy 21 months ago | 3 | so i spent a good while browsing through 1.0, and it actually seemed like it had a pretty cool community, it's a shame there's only a few cool people left now |
| TheEvilShadoo | 1 | Yeah, but at least with such a small community now we don’t really have to worry about spam or trolls. Using this for long enough causes you to start taking note of any positive things you can find about it. |
| AmbientGalaxy | yeah, i guess that is a plus | |
| Gold Prognosticus | Nerr 1.0 was great fun, even if I didn't post anywhere near as much as everyone else and timezones meant I was usually asleep for the really big stuff - a lot of the features and events on there I've never seen on other communities (up to and including the literal apocalypse). Certainly there was no shortage of drama putting that many kids in one place, but it's the only forum that managed to keep me active for more than a few months. | |

| TheEvilShadoo | reply to GamerKid posted 21 months ago Yeah, it should definitely be interesting this year. | |
| TheEvilShadoo | 2 | reply to Roxy jimmy posted 21 months ago It’s that time of year again, although it’s mostly moths around where I live. |
| AmbientGalaxy | 1 | are they digital moths? |
| TheEvilShadoo | Do digital sweater moths eat the digital cookie crumbs cached in your digital sweaters? Do digital fruit flies only affect Apple products? If you answered yes, then yes. | |
| SPMFangirl & Muitfandom Trash | reply to Dimentio21 posted 21 months ago good point | |
