I am considering a MLPX1984 short. Pinkie pie is the unfortunate proletarian, entering her collapsing farmhouse on a cold April evening, as the clocks strike thirteen. She notes the "Friendship is Magic" poster with Celestia's visage, her eyes seeming to watch Pinkie at all angles. etc. Eventually Twilight is O'Brian and the story ends with Pinkie lying under Twilight's scalpel, remembering how she got he cutie mark, the day her parents were killed in a mining accident, the explosion exhilarating her spirit

Also Celestia is *crag*ing creepy; she is a deity with the wings of a Pegesi and horn of a Unicorn, deluding her subjects with the ideal of the magic of friendship.
