it feels fake i dont know why, maybe its just those starter pokemon
its like all those kids on the internet back in 2005 who made fake pokemon are now designing pokemon for real games

it feels fake to me because they're basically saying "oh btw we made a new pokemon no biggie", and not long after B/W2 as well. it's apparently real though so whatever.

I sincerely hope this shit is real because it's the biggest visual upgrade the series has gotten since they added *crag*ing color.

Also anyone who thinks this was fake because a Pokemon game just came out wasn't born before 2000.

nah it was just the designs that tipped me off, i dont care about when the last one came out lol
Reply by Nastasia Jan 08 2013 13:05 GMT
Honestly these designs seem pretty above average with the bar they've been setting recently.

Are they planning on using France as the map for this game rather than Japan? The Eiffel tower showed up in both the opening cinematic and the main trailer, plus the positioning of the globe (I think) on the cinematic suggests it's not that tower in Tokyo that looks a lot like the Eiffel tower.

I could be wrong about the globe bit actually, it's a tad tricky to pinpoint any locations on there (if it's even based on Earth at all).
Reply by Gold Prognosticus Jan 08 2013 18:08 GMT
what, all the other maps were based on various places in the world
black and white was based on new york or something

I never got around to playing B/W, but to the best of my knowledge the previous maps were all different areas of Japan. There's an image of it floating around on the internet somewhere, I might go look for it later.
