im thinking of buying one myself since my wii's disk reader is broken so i thought i'd make the jump now because i want to play some wii games again instead of just sending in my wii for repairs. how'd you enjoy yours? is nsmbu any good? i don't really know when i'll get one honestly since work has been pretty scarce lately and i don't want to miss out on the new fire emblem so i'm trying to figure out where i should get one immediately once i get the cash or if i should just wait until i get paid after fe:a comes out.

I really like my Wii U. NSMBU was enjoyable but not much different than the other NSMBs. The co-op challenge mode is great though if you have a friend to place blocks. NintendoLand is surprisingly good. The games are challenging and theres enough there even if you dont do multiplayer. Being able to play some games on just the Gamepad is awesome. MiiVerse is a great feature too.
It's probably a waste of money to get your Wii repaired, you might want to get a used Wii for cheap (but you wont be able to transfer some saves or VC games). You can transfer your data from your old Wii to the new Wii U though.
But no need to rush on the Wii U, there's only 3 decent games (NintendoLand, NSMBU, and ZombiU, and maybe Sonic Racing) and one cheap VC game a month probably isn't enough incentive to get one right this second if you are strapped for cash. I'd say save up until the next good game comes out (Rayman Legends? WindWaker?)
