You're looking at Slidatron, a DS project from Endgame. Notice anything similar to another 3DS eShop game? This is actually how Fractured Soul came to be. Slidatron, due to a number of publisher issues and market problems, never saw release. The idea was transformed into Fractured Soul, but that wasn't the end of the project's issues. It was still a long road ahead to see Fractured Soul released.
As Fractured Soul was being put together for the DS, publishers were leaving the platform like crazy. Piracy was becoming a major issue, which halted any chances for Fractured Soul to hit the platform. Yet another shift was necessary, this time to the 3DS eShop. Finally, the game would see release on this platform, 8 years after the initial gameplay idea was put together.
