Nintendo's legendary creator has said he'd rather make smaller games in the future. leaving Mario in the hands of his successors.

nsmb isnt by miyamoto. it's a completely different team altogether and he doesn't really work on games either. last one he actually had a hand in developing was pikmin 3 and luigis mansion 2.
