Ancel sees himself as an apprentice and Miyamoto as the master, explains Rayman/Rabbids franchise approach
Coming from an ONM interview with Michel Ancel...
On his talent
"It's very kind of you to have me with such talented people, but I really consider myself to be an apprentice, where Miyamoto is a master. Well, maybe an advanced apprentice!"
On why Rayman and the Rabbids split into two franchises
"Rayman as a character and a type of game became a bit muddled, so we split the franchises (Rayman and Rabbids). We must be careful not to lose the soul of the franchise. Now we're really aiming to make Rayman a reference to fun and social platforming."
