Google Chrome Log In

I am having trouble using Google Chrome to log into my account, because the sign in box doesn't appear. Is there any way to fix this? By the way, I'm using the dev channel.

I use the beta channel and it works fine. It's probably a dev bug, or some security setting that blocks 3rd party sites in iframes.

It would be like what we have now, but instead of you unhiding "all replies," there are short previews under the main topic of user replies, and you click on the one you want to view, which drops down so you can see the full reply. This would allow room for users to post images in replies to topics as well as allowing them space for signatures or other stuff, but mainly, it would function as a way to "separate" replies so they're easier to read.

cBox Protected Usernames

Can anyone elaborate for me about the protected usernames in the cbox? It is not letting me use my own username for the cbox.

You can register a name by clicking on the profile link under the cbox Go button. I'm not sure how or why, but a bunch of names were registered recently by an unknown ip. I just cleaned them out.

Whenever someone uses the special effects in the more text window, a note should be displayed on the topic list letting you know the post has enhanced graphics. Also, when a user you've hidden makes a post or reply, instead of just being invisible it is replaced with a message saying that the user posted here, giving you a button to view the individual post without unhiding the user.

Personally, I think both these features would help reduce confusion.

I'm still not really sure how best to show when a post is "enhanced". I am considering not showing the text at all (or a very small snippet), requiring you to click to view the whole post.

Currently there is no easy way to view a single subscribed board - clicking the list buttons shows all the subscribed posts in that category and the scubscribed boards in the sidebar got replaced by active boards.

I'd find a system like this pretty useful, since we currently have no way of telling if we don't want to see posts before we see them. Comments plx? Edit: Also, perhaps the checkboxes should be unhidden by default so you don't need to click the 'more options' button.

I agree with the [s]poiler option but not the [m]. "mature" posts should probably not be posted at all, and will be hidden or deleted if reported (when reporting is enabled)

I agree. Also, how about a button next to report that lets you flag topics as being a spoiler without having the [s] option selected, so that a mod can review it and [s]-tag it themselves.

I disagree. A user's board is it's own board. But, I am going to add a way to see all the posts from a user (and posts they comment on). And yes, that is how I plan on doing user-to-user messages (optionally private)

After clicking OK on the delete/ban confirmation popup, the action is performed but nothing happens and the conifrmation window doesn't close/

You might have to expand the window of your browser. I was thinking that it was broken too. It worked for me when I expanded the width, though I’m not sure if you keep your browser maximized all the time and if you don’t have a widescreen monitor. If that’s the case, then I hope Francis fixes the avatars.

I didn't realize so many of you are using 1024x768 resolution, but apparently 26.28% of you do. So, I'll try to shift things around. (or u shud get moar rezolutionz)

More Settings like... -option to allow HTML or BBcode -auto-complete options (the thing where it suggests the rest of the word and it is highlighted) that users can set based on their preferences -templates

I know that misusing HTML can crash the site, so we could have some limitations on what kind of coding we could use (for example, we could only be allowed to use background, text color, text size and font, typewriter text... the basic stuff only.)

Well, you can use bold, italics, underline, and ~~~~strikethrough~~. I hate bbcode, i would like to avoid it if at all possible. I could maybe add a few more tags like .~~

Indents, as in... This. Make it so all enter keys, are made... into a space, so... It'd be like this. All on one line, but with a space seperating the previous sentence. I only ask of you this, because it's a horrible habbit of mine, and it's hard to stop; And it looks terribly funky when posting.
