Nintendo isn't ready to talk about their Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds 3DS XL bundle yet, but we know GameStop is going to have it. Now we're hearing that this bundle may only be available on black Friday, on a first-come, first-served basis. We'll try to get confirmation on this information.
Another weekend, another podcast to tackle. As I said on Twitter, Mom Brain won't be here with us this time. On a positive note, we'll have Lube, Kirby and Nicky Hill! Should be a fun show...and a crazy one at that. You know how things are when Nicky is around.
We hope to see you back here later today to watch! We'll go live at 3:15 PM East Coast time. Just come back to this post to watch. Also, hop into our IRC (via community button at the top of the site) and chat with us live during the show!
Post will be updated with live-stream embed as show time gets closer.
We aren't quite sure what retailers are selling these, but we do know that both items are brand-new and can be found at retailers that sell video game clothing.
If you skipped out on the original WiiWare release, this version is still an excellent choice. It performs slightly worse than its console counterpart, and fighting the same opponents in each difficulty level can get a bit annoying, but despite those two small complaints, it doesn’t change the fact that it’s still an excellent game in its own right.
“The Assassin’s Creed franchise has already sold over 6.6 million units in the UK and over the past few years it has become a staple in gamers’ diaries. Since we announced Black Flag in March, we have supported it at every beat of the campaign. We will be increasing our media presence as we near launch.” - Omebline Wallon, UK brand manager, Ubisoft Link
If you’re looking for family friendly fun that’ll last hours and hours even after the campaign is complete, then rest assured that Skylanders: Swap Force is well worth the investment — of course, just how much you're willing to invest depends on how badly you want to collect all of those eye-catching figures.

That's the beginning and end of the situation, but you can take a very detailed look at who came in when by
Okay, so the NewEgg listing for Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon on Wii U has been fishy ever since it went live, initially allowing for preorder and then taking that option away. Now we're seeing a listing added to Best Buy for the same game.
I have no idea what to make of this one. I think we trust Best Buy listings a bit more than NewEgg, but obviously not enough to call this confirmed. What side of the fence are you on?
That must-have preorder goody is slowly making its way around the world. Nintendo of Greece has confirmed the item as a bonus, alongside the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 3DS XL. We know the bundle is heading our way, but who's going to dish out that treasure?! Thanks to Cassiel for the heads up.

Reader Fawzi emailed in to tell me that the video below supposedly states that Aonuma was going to share something related to Zelda Wii U at Comic-Con, but had to scrap that idea due to not having time to prepare it. Apparently, Aonuma will be making that announcement in the near future.
The problem is, we need someone who understands German to get an official translation! The other problem is, the video seems slow to play and it's an hour long! If you feel that you can tackle this task, feel free to hit me up via email.
Sales of “Disney Infinity” are picking up as it heads into the key holiday sales season, with starter packs for the game having sold 1 million units around the world, according to Disney Interactive. It’s a significant milestone for Disney’s games group as it attempts to launch a major franchise for the Mouse House.
I originally wanted to post this last night, but I had some clearance issues. Now I've gotten the go-ahead to share with all of you. Get ready for 8 minutes of Wii Party U tabletop baseball! It's Mom Vs. Dad in a three-inning game. Who's going to come out on top?!
Coming from an AP interview with executive producer Mark Rubin...
"There was a risk of shoehorning the dog into scenes where he wasn't originally going to be. Fortunately, that only lasted for a few weeks and everybody got back to concentrating on making the game. It's great that Riley is so popular, but let's focus on the game. Let's have Riley make sense and not just put him in space or in a scuba suit."
- Riley's battlefield perspective can be glimpsed through a camera mounted to his back
- he can receive orders to create distractions or take down enemies
- devs met with a retired Navy SEAL and his former military service dog
- German Shepherd Ruger and a smaller Belgian Malinois called Rico were motion-capped
- you may be able to spot the differences between the two dogs when playing
- Ruger and Rico were outfitted with custom motion-capture gear
- they originally wore special booties on their paws so dozens of cameras could film
- Rico provided the biting and tackling
- Ruger performed the movements
- it was a challenge to get the dog to perform as if it were in realistic locations
"Everybody thinks we're going to kill the dog. Maybe that's the expected thing we would do, so maybe it's not what we'll do? We'll see. People around here didn't know, and they had that same sentiment: 'We better not kill the dog.' The emotional investment for the dog here has been just as strong as what's happening out in the public."
Okay...just incase you were a bit iffy on today's leak of the Black Friday deals at GameStop, here's some reassurance. GameStop has confirmed that their black Friday flyer has indeed leaked and it's the real deal. They have no idea how it got out, but at least we know it's 100% real. That means the Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds 3DS XL bundle is definitely coming stateside. Still, when Nintendo was presented with that information, they said..."We have nothing to announce at this time."
