A portion of a Nintendo Life review...

For short sessions of grab-and-go play, Bonnie's food cart serves up an excellent combo of cuteness, catchy music, and frantic, family-friendly, food-flinging fun.

We just had a Spot the Differences! title hit the Wii U eShop not that long ago, but now another version is heading to the 3DS. As you may know, this is a series that focuses on finding the differences between two images, very similar to what you'd play on an bar-top arcade system in a bar. The title is due to hit Europe in late Nov. for 30 Euros.

This damage comes from a contest that Activision help for Call of Duty: Ghosts at Milan’s Games Week event. Activision put out a press release stating that the first 500 people to storm the booth would get a free Call of Duty: Ghosts Prestige edition. This cause a massive stampede that busted up the booth so bad that it had to be closed. On the good side of the news, no one was injured during the contest.

As you can see above, the stamp screenshot that was released seems to showcase player icons. Looks like Mario, Peach, Toad and Luigi's player icons fit perfectly into the stamp collection lineup, but what about that other icon that looks quite similar? Hit the jump to see some speculation.

I'm sure the gang at GameTrailers isn't going to be happy about this, but we sure are! Eurogamer has put together a feature pegging the Wii U as the system to own this holiday season. With Xbox 1 and PS4 both launching, you'd think they would take the cake for must-haves, but it's the strong first-party lineup from Wii U that really seals the deal.

A portion of a Siliconera interview with Tales series producer Hideo Baba...

S: Right. But that’s if we’re talking about brand new Tales titles here. What if I change the question slightly, and we’re talking in terms of which Tales games you’d like to get localized from Japanese to English? There are still quite a few titles in the past such as Tales of Hearts R and Tales of Innocence R that have not made it to the West yet, and I was wondering if at this point the PS Vita Tales titles are still something you’d look into bringing to the West.

HB: So when considering which titles can be localized to be released in the Western market, our first priority are the flagship titles, such as Tales of Xillia. After that, our second priority are remake titles or all-star titles.

Because the number of development members we have on staff is very limited, it’s not possible to localize every single Tales title. So we have to pick and choose when deciding which parts of the Tales series we would like to bring out to the rest of the world outside Japan.

A portion of a USGamer review...

More of a game for your younger sister than you, Hometown Story pales in comparison to the many 'life simulation' games already in the market. In many ways, it's a bare-bones version of Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale, stripped of all its zaniness and sly negotiations. Hometown Story isn't necessarily bad but given the price tag that it commands, I'm unwilling to recommend it. More deserving games are waiting for your money.

The one part of Full Screen Mario’s development that completely took me by surprise was how difficult it was to release the thing properly. There’s a huge difference between finishing a project and getting other people to play it. I’d put the game up on GitHub and fullscreenmario.com months before it blew up, and even posted it on Reddit without much response. You’d be surprised how competitive some gaming subreddits can be (though not nearly as bad as 4chan’s /v!). It was only after an r/javascript post that the game started to attract more attention, and once BoingBoing posted an article, a bunch of news sites got wind of the game and all of a sudden the server had to deal with 30k hits a day. I ended up tapping Cloudflare for CDN/caching to handle the unexpected traffic, and thank heavens it was “only” a day’s worth of visitors ruined. The week after discovery saw an extra 100k unique visitors a day, surpassing 500k unique visitors and 2 million pageviews on a few days, for a total peak of 2 million unique visitors and 6 million pageviews the following week. It's dropped down to about 100k visitors a day as of this blog post, but I'm still floored by the terrific response the game's received. - creator, Josh Goldberg

For Nintendo, the Brazilian market is turning out to be harder to win than the pirate-ship level in "Super Mario Bros. 3."

Reggie Fils-Aime, president of the Japanese company's American unit, singled out Brazil as a potentially important growth area for Nintendo's business in the future. While Mexico is the game maker's biggest market in Latin America, "Brazil has huge potential," Fils-Aime said in an interview at Bloomberg's office in San Francisco yesterday.

But Nintendo keeps stumbling over the same hurdle as many other consumer-electronics companies trying to crack the world's second-biggest emerging economy. Brazilian import fees are very expensive, and that drives the prices way up. For example, Brazil is the most expensive country in the world to buy an iPhone 5 at 2,299 real ($1,045), according to Bloomberg Rankings. Nintendo's consoles, too, typically sell for more than $1,000 each in Brazil, which is more than three times the price in the U.S.
