SAN JOSE, Calif., (October 29, 2013) Leading video game publisher and developer NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. is proud to announce that PAC-MAN™ and the Ghostly Adventures is available at retailers today in North and Latin America for the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, STEAM®, and Wii U™ from Nintendo. The game is based on the original storyline from the hit animated series aired on Disney XD® in the U.S., produced by Avi Arad, the renowned Hollywood producer and founder of Marvel Studios. In PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures our favorite yellow chomping machine with an insatiable appetite becomes the unlikely hero destined to save PacWorld from the evil plots of Betrayus and his Netherworld ghosts!

The modern makeover of NAMCO BANDAI Games’ beloved PAC-MAN property immerses players in a wacky world of new adventures while still harkening to classic PAC-MAN gameplay elements such as chomping ghosts. Not only will Pac still be devouring scared blue ghosts in PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures, he will also have to face various types of Netherworld ghosts that will prove to be a challenge for the yellow youngster. In the fight for freedom and the future of PacWorld, Pac will need to rely on an extensive menu of Power Berries that bestow Pac with unique power-ups that allow him to either burn or freeze ghosts, bounce around like a rubber ball, barrel through levels as a spinning top or even mow down ghosts as a giant granite ball. Each power up changes the way players can attack or move across various terrains, bringing new and exciting gameplay challenges for players to master.

PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures twists the rules of PAC-MAN by letting gamers take on the role of the four mischievous ghosts—Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde—in an all-new exciting multiplayer mode. The re-imagined maze mode allows gamers and up to three of their friends to play competitively to see who can catch PAC-MAN first as the elusive yellow PacWorlder darts around intricate mazes. PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures will also contain unlockable classic 2D arcade-style mini games featuring new Pac vehicles such as the Cherry Copter and Pineapple Tank.

“PAC-MAN has been a cornerstone franchise at Namco Bandai Games for over 30 years touching the lives of multiple generations of gamers,” said Chris Gilbert, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. “From PAC-MAN’s arcade debut in the 80’s that kick-started his meteoric rise to becoming a pop-culture icon to his hit animated series that premiered this year on Disney XD; PAC-MAN continues to be a global entertainment brand, winning new fans and bringing fun and laughter to families the world over.”

PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures is available in North and Latin America for the Xbox 360, PlayStation®3 system, STEAM and Wii U at a MSRP of $39.99 and is rated “Everyone 10+” by the ESRB. A separate 2D side-scrolling version of the game will be available for the Nintendo 3DS™ on November 5th. For a limited time, fans will receive a free gift in the form of a glow-in-the-dark poster contained in the retail package of the game (while supplies last). A portion of a 4cr interview with Christopher Arnold...

4cr: It’s interesting to see that if the main goal is reached, Ping 2: Attack of the Spheres will be available to backers on Wii, PC, Mac and Linux. What will the main differences be between the PC/Mac/Linux and the Wii U release?

CA: The main difference will be the multiplayer mode. At this time, only local multiplayer is being planned for the Nintendo Wii U. Also I have quite a few ideas of how I would love to put your face in the game with the camera to make it an embarassing spectacle for your friends to watch using the camera built in. So basically the PC, Mac, and Linux versions won’t have all of those fun features that only the Nintendo Wii U can offer, but because of that, I’ll either lower the price on those or add in special content just for those that makes use of PC. Maybe high score boards? Challenge modes? I’m not sure yet. There isn’t the same restrictions on a PC game internet wise as there is on a console game.

Remember, retailer listings can be nothing more than placeholder, not giving any real info on a release date. On top of that, dates that land on the 15th or 30th are usually placeholder. With that said, Amazon has dated the official Watch_Dogs guide for June 30th. Ubisoft isn't talking, so that's the best we have to go on for now!

REDMOND, Wash., Oct. 29, 2013 – The Legend of Zelda series has always been associated with the color gold. From the original gold-colored cartridge for The Legend of Zelda on NES to the box art of the recently released The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD for Wii U, when fans think of "Zelda," they think of gold. With the launch of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds on Nov. 22, the tradition of gold continues. On the same day, a new Nintendo 3DS XL bundle will launch that includes Nintendo 3DS XL hardware with gorgeous gold-and-black coloring and the iconic Triforce on the exterior, as well as a download code for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. The legendary system is gold on one side and black on the other, beautifully representing the two parallel worlds Link travels between in the game. The special bundle was announced in a video starring The Legend of Zelda franchise producer Eiji Aonuma, and will be available at a suggested retail price of $219.99.

"This beautifully designed Nintendo 3DS XL system continues a tradition that has delighted our fans for decades," said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. "It's a special bundle for a very special video game."

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is set in the same world as fan-favorite The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for Super NES and takes place in the same Hyrule after many years have passed. In this new game, Link must journey between two worlds, Hyrule and Lorule, using a mysterious power that lets him become a drawing on walls. Link's ability to merge with walls allows players to solve puzzles and explore dungeons in a new way. Players are also able to buy or rent various items throughout the game, allowing them to explore dungeons in any order they want, adding a new level of freedom to the game play.

- Just like the previous game, there are radio studios which you can listen to with fav songs. Genres now as well.
- Up to January 31, it is possible to import songs from the Deluxe version. Does require some information though.

Coming from the official FAQ...

Q: Why is there a new Clan system for Call of Duty®: Ghosts?

A: Clans in Call of Duty®: Ghosts will include deeper in-game integration and more features, from in-game Clan Management and Clan–specific playlists to the all-new Call of Duty® Clan Wars game mode available in the new Call of Duty® app. This year also introduces cross-platform Clans, allowing players to create and/or join a single Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan across the following platforms: including Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation®3, PlayStation®4 and Windows PC.

@BagirovEmmanuel I am basing it on this document, which does not list Wii U as supported by the Clans system: http://t.co/81ZKyYCOuF

On Wednesday, October 30, before market open in the west, Nintendo Co., Ltd. (NTDOY.PK) will report Q2:14 (September) results. It will not hold a financial results briefing.

We expect another miss in Q2. Nintendo is likely to report Q2 results below our estimates for revenue of 155 billion yen (up 33 percent year-over-year) and EPS of 7 yen, compared to consensus for revenue of 139 billion yen and EPS of (29) yen. According to NPD, Nintendo’s Q2 U.S. HW dollar sales were down 3 percent year-over-year, while SW dollar sales were down 18 percent, both well below our estimates. Wii U, introduced domestically last November, continues to sell significantly below the levels typically associated with a new console launch. F/X rates for the quarter were 99 yen/$1 and 131 yen/1 euro versus Nintendo’s FY:14 assumptions of 90 yen/$1 and 120 yen/1 euro, positively impacting results.

We expect FY:14 guidance to remain largely unchanged. Nintendo has guided to FY:14 revenue of 920 billion yen, operating income of 100 billion yen, and EPS of 430 yen. Despite a difficult start to FY:14, Nintendo has a significant number of quality releases later this year, and we expect continued optimism about a turnaround.

The Wii U price cut and October introduction of the 2DS may be insufficient to turn around Nintendo’s sagging fortunes in the console and handheld markets, respectively. In August, Nintendo announced a $50 reduction in the suggested retail price of the Wii U Deluxe bundle to $299.99, effective September 20. We do not think the price cut alone will be enough to jump start sales, as the perception remains that Wii U could be an inferior machine to the PS4 and Xbox One. Compelling bundles will help somewhat, but the Wii U’s future appears bleak.

Also in August, Nintendo announced the 2DS Portable, released on October 12 at $129.99, which plays all 3DS and DS games in 2D. Although the response to the 2DS has been tepid so far, it could drive sales 25 percent higher over the near-term. In the long-term, however, we think dedicated handheld gaming device sales will remain challenged by the ubiquity of smart phones and tablets.

Maintaining our NEUTRAL rating and 12-month price target of 12,000 yen. Our PT reflects a 10x forward EV/adjusted EPS multiple, and is a premium to its 8,000 yen/share in cash and investments. We expect continuing weakness in handheld demand despite the introduction of the 2DS. In addition, we expect console market share erosion to accelerate upon the November launches of the next-gen consoles from competitors Microsoft and Sony.
