@supererogatory Heard anything about Tiger Woods and 2K Sports talking? His agent confirmed that he's talking to someone else post-EA.

We haven't heard a peep about EA's new golf game coming to Nintendo platforms, but it looks like Tiger Woods might not be done yet.

Coming from a CNET interview with Reggie Fils-Aime...

"We're constantly thinking about how to leverage mobile as a marketing vehicle. How do I give little tastes of content, little experiences that then drive the consumer back to my hardware environment? That's why we're so focused on having content exclusive to our platform. When the consumer wants to play Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon, they have to purchase our hardware to do so. And that preserves our overall financial model. In the end, the consumer wants to be entertained. They want to play great software, and we feel very good about the plethora of software behind our platforms."
Reggie also confirmed that more updates will hit Nintendo TVii, but the focus will always be on games.

"It's going to be a viable, ongoing piece of our platform (Nintendo TVii). Our proposition is on the backs of games. That's how we see driving the business going forward."

I figure we're going to be seeing a lot of these retailer release date listings in the near future. We don't know if any of them are true. Most likely they aren't very on-the-money, but we'll take what we can get. That's why we're sharing that Littlewoods, a UK retailer, has plopped down Mario Kart 8 for an April 25th release in the UK. Sound plausible to you guys?

Los Angeles, CA - October 29, 2013 - Let it rip! Rising Star Games announced that BEYBLADE: Evolution for the Nintendo 3DS™ is now available at retailers nationwide, just in time for the holiday shopping season. Designed to maximize the unique features of the Nintendo 3DS system, BEYBLADE: Evolution brings whole new ways of playing to the BEYBLADE fan. BEYBLADE is one of the world's biggest brands, with 200 million toys sold worldwide to date, and the all-new anime TV series BEYBLADE: Shogun Steel debuted this fall to top ratings. BEYBLADE: Evolution includes elements from the new series and bridges the storyline between the Metal Saga and Shogun Steel, including an opportunity for players to unlock the next-generation Samurai Ifrit W145CF BEYBLADE Battle Top for use in-game.

Developed to take advantage of the unique capabilities of the Nintendo 3DS, BEYBLADE: Evolution lets players launch their in-game BEYBLADE, using the gyro and motion sensors and manipulating the viewing angle with the AR camera for precise control and adjustment. Players engage in real-time multiplayer battles or follow the Story Mode campaign unlocking new parts and information to fine-tune their tops in the Bey Factory. Battle your friends in the faithfully recreated virtual arenas, or in one of the brand new arenas. BEYBLADE: Evolution is also compatible with the new Nintendo 2DS handheld system.

Burlingame, CA. - October 29, 2013 - Natsume Inc., a worldwide developer and publisher of family-oriented video games, has officially announced they are bringing the latest title in the Yumi's Odd Odyssey series (known in Japan as Umihara Kawase) to their North American fans. Featuring a girl armed with only with her backpack and trusty fishing hook, this traveling sushi chef departs on a journey in a dream-like world filled with fish and other wildlife gone awry.

You've never played a puzzle platformer quite like this! Using her fishing hook, Yumi must make her way through a variety of levels by running, jumping, and throwing her coveted fishing line. When thrown, this line will hook onto nearly all surfaces within each level. When the line is firmly hooked onto a surface or enemy, the line is able to take her weight. Yumi can use this traction to swing between platforms, lower herself down to other ledges, and even catapult herself great distances by stretching the line to its breaking point! Its unique mechanics are sure to excite even veteran gamers of the platforming genre!

"We have been interested in releasing this unique title for awhile now," said Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO at Natsume. "We are working very closely with Agatsuma Entertainment to bring this game to our fans, who we know appreciate games that are a little different, and also have lovable characters."

Originally released on the Super Famicom and later re-released for the PlayStation and DS, this will be the first time Yumi's tale is told outside of Japan. Created by the series' original developers, such as the original programmer, Kiyoshi Sakai, as well as the character designer, Toshinobu Kondo, Japanese fans have been raving about the game since it was released in June 2013.
