StreetPass NYC, the largest unofficial Nintendo 3DS fan club in the United States of America welcomes everyone in the New York Metro Region to join them for the 40th Anniversary Greenwich Village Halloween Parade on October 31st!

The Nintendo enthusiast group will gather at the Albert Capsouto Park (Laight St., Canal St., and Varick St., New York, NY 10013) between 4:00 PM until 5:20 PM and then migrate up 6th Avenue (South of Spring Street and North of Canal) to attend the parade.

Those fans joining StreetPass NYC between those times at the gathering location will have a professional group portrait taken by a veteran Greenwich Village Halloween Parade photographer at 5:30 PM. After the portrait is taken, StreetPass NYC will be given early access to line up in the parade ahead of the hundreds of puppets, fifty-three bands, dancers, artists and thousands of other New Yorkers in costume parading in the nation’s most wildly creative public participatory event in the greatest city in the world!

For those who cannot participate, you can watch the parade on TV on channels WPIX from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM and on NY from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

Last year the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade was the first event cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy. This year the parade will honor the Spirit of Volunteerism including those who sprang into action to pull New York City out of that disaster; the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center Transplant Team and Jeff Bratcher—longtime Parade volunteer—who donated a kidney to the Parade Director’s son, and representatives of all those who have volunteered to marshal and animate giant puppets throughout Parade history and kept the humble arts organization going!

For more information on the parade go to http://www.halloween-nyc.com/

StreetPass NYC is a subset of the much larger world-wide, fan run and operated StreetPass Network (comprised of the many StreetPass meet up groups popping up all over the globe from Americas to Europe and Asia since the launch of 3DS). Coming from an Examiner interview with Activision CEO, Eric Hirshberg...

"...it certainly is a really cool feature to my eyes. I think the Call of Duty multiplayer game has been incredibly successful and popular. I think it has a unique brand of fast-paced gameplay that our developers do better than anyone."
Hirshberg also stated that some map events will be random, and that players will have to learn how much control they actually have over their surroundings.

If you want to buy a Wii Fit U meter, you can do so through various retailer websites like Amazon or GameStop. If you want to head into a store and pick one up, you're only going to have one choice early on. Seems like Toys R' Us has early dibs on the device, but it doesn't seem like things will stay that way forever. If you're aiming for launch day support and don't want to buy online, Toys R' Us is going to be the way to go.

- fight Titans with Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear
- titan’s weak point is it’s neck, but this is difficult to aim at
- helpful to first break its posture by going for its legs.
- Eren can also change into a titan
- this allows for powerful punch/kick attacks
- create your own original character
- challenge a large number of missions in World Mode
- general missions and investigation missions
- new missions are unlocked as previous ones are cleared
- set your character’s skills before the start of each mission
- earn new skills by meeting certain conditions

Remember when the Free Fall DLC for Call of Duty: Ghosts was a sure-thing for Wii U? Turns out that's not the case anymore. Check out this comment from an Activision rep.

“It’s just not confirmed for the day one release, but there is definitely a chance that it will become available at a later stage”.

What in the hell does that mean?! Not on day one...and maybe it'll come later? That's sure a lot different than confirmed!

A portion of a ONM review...

Goodbye, old friend: it's been one hell of a ride, albeit a very familiar one. Azran Legacy represents a rock-solid end to a Nintendo handheld champion.

A portion of a Gamefa interview with Vincent van Geel Creative Director& Co-Founder of ISOTX...

G: There's been a lot of talk that March of War is going to be sold on eShop Wii U, do you confirm? If you do tell us what made you decide to expand this game on Wii U?

VG: We are looking into releasing March of War on the Wii U and the reason for that is that we want to create a true cross-platform experience so that everybody can enjoy March of War on any device they have. Another reason is that March of War is releasing on tablets too, so the Wii U with its gamepad which had the ability to use touch based games. As a third reason we want to create our game for Wii U is the Nintendo community, which is a very strong and loyal player base.

Coming from the recent Iwata Asks...

Shimamura: Yes. Usually when you download software, you go to the Nintendo eShop, pay, and then download.

Iwata: Right.

Shimamura: That's incredibly easy, but there are a certain number of people who find that to be a pain. So this time, in order to reduce that hassle, if your Wii U is connected to the internet and you have at least 1.3 gigabytes of free space, Wii Sports Club comes in to your Wii U automatically through SpotPass.

Iwata: I believe those who updated their Wii U console the other day received a message upon opening their system again asking if they would like to automatically receive content via SpotPass. If you answered "OK" and have 1.3 gigabytes or more of free space, Wii Sports Club will be delivered automatically.
