Coming from a Polygon interview...

"The reason why they (Microsoft/Sony) do it is because they're trying to expand upon an experience, right. Traditionally, video games were viewed as something where you sit down on a couch, high mental engagement, low physical engagement, and they're trying to transition that. A lot of it came out of the success of the Nintendo Wii console, which was, of course, incredibly disruptive to the market, and it really helped merge this market of gamers and non-gamers into one gaming universe. I think Sony and Microsoft were looking at ways to tap into that market and innovate in their own ways, and make games accessible to all demographics and all play styles." - EEDAR vice president and analyst Jesse Divnich
"We could see Wii U coming out with, in a couple years, games that require two GamePads. So we could see a major uptick in sales of that — if you want to call it a peripheral or accessory. Once games get out there where you have a team-based competition where you both need a touchscreen in real time; right now, they're kind of holding that back, but that's one thing that could be coming." - International Data Corporation research manager Lewis Ward

A portion of a Nintendo Life review...

Organic second-screen support, lovely new features and some welcome, if subtle, tweaks to an already fantastic title put Human Revolution at the top of the Wii U food chain. There just aren't many games out there quite like it.

A portion of a NWR review...

With so many similar and better alternatives to this style of game on 3DS (and other systems), Hometown Story is worth skipping. This isn’t the successor to Harvest Moon; it’s just disappointing.

Coming from a Polygon interview with EA's Andrew Wilson...

"Whether you respect the source or not, I think it was a wake up call, and it was absolutely something that we spent a lot of time and energy over, and continue to spend a lot of time and energy over. For us, it was less about, 'How do we not get voted the worst company again?' but more about, 'Okay, are there things that we could do differently or things that we have done that have been misinterpreted that would cause people to feel that way?'

What we have been doing over time is really working to either update those things or eliminate those things, and really get back to our focus on games," he said. "Because at the end of the day, if we're making great games and services, we won't get voted worst company in America again."

Coming from an Examiner interview with Infinity Ward's Tina Palacios...

"The concept behind Ghosts is something that really appealed to the team -- being the underdog. In previous Call of Duty games, you always had the firepower, the brute force, and the tech you needed to win the war. This time, the Ghosts don't have any of those advantages - all they have is each other. They'll find themselves struggling to fight for what's left of a crippled United States while also utilizing the limited resources they have left. You'll play as Logan, alongside his brother Hesh, and see them experience the US before and after a devastating attack.

In a previous Call of Duty game, you could use an air strike to take out an enemy base. This time, the Ghosts have no backup and are called upon to perform tasks under the pressure of having no other alternative."
