A Mii character used in Wii Fit or Wii Fit Plus is registered in the Wii U Mii Maker.
The data from Wii Fit or Wii Fit Plus is transferred to the Wii U.

How to Resolve the Error:

If you encounter this error, you will need to delete any Mii characters in the Wii U Mii Maker that were used in Wii Fit or Wii Fit Plus, start Wii Fit U, and then transfer user data.

If the Mii character that needs to be deleted is the user’s Mii character, please follow the steps below to change the user’s Mii character:

From the user selection screen, highlight the user.

A portion of a Dtoid review...

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is the Avengers game we've always wanted, and maybe even more than that -- the Marvel game we've always wanted, and I say that well-aware of the fact that Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 are out there.

Coming from Ubisoft's Patrick Plourde...

"If the game is a missed opportunity, then it's going to be a missed opportunity for years. Even when I pitched Child of Light, they mentioned Beyond Good & Evil. They said 'Beyond Good & Evil was not a success, and we made that mistake once.' And it's like, yeah, but it's 10 years ago... If somebody tries something and fails, there are going to be repercussions for other people. For me it would be a shame if that happens. I don't think people are malevolent or evil about that. It's just if it fails, they're going to be careful greenlighting other projects like that."

A portion of a Eurogamer review...

"Fashions change, but steam trains remain majestic," remarks Layton, while waiting on the station platform in some pastoral village mid-way through this story. Not only steam trains, dear Layton, but also the video game vehicle in which you have travelled these past few years, which has transcended the fickle fashions of the industry and remained true to its singular vision.

REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Fantastic new challenges in the world of Pikmin 3 are only a download away. Starting today, new challenges in the “Battle Enemies!” mission type in Pikmin 3 can be purchased as downloadable content in the Nintendo eShop on Wii U for only $1.99. One stage is free, and is available via an automatic software update.

The pack of four stages is based on locations from the game’s Story Mode and is crawling with tons of hostile creatures. Like all the other stages in Mission Mode, these new challenges can be played solo or cooperatively with a friend. High scores earned in this mode will be displayed on a global rankings leaderboard, encouraging friendly competition with other players all around the world.

To purchase the new downloadable content, Wii U users with broadband Internet access need to select “downloadable content” from the Pikmin 3 page in the Nintendo eShop and follow the instructions to confirm their purchase. Once purchased and downloaded, players can access the new stages from the Mission Mode menu in Pikmin 3 after the game has been restarted.

Pikmin 3 is the latest installment in the fan-favorite Pikmin series. Designed by Shigeru Miyamoto, the game finds three space explorers leading an army of adorable Pikmin on a quest to find supplies for their home planet. The new stages in “Battle Enemies!” mark the second set of downloadable content in Pikmin 3. Additional downloadable content for Mission Mode launched earlier this year in the Nintendo eShop.

A portion of a Nintendo Life interview with Rain Games...

NL: So you’re planning to turn this into a series?

Magnus Holm: Yes. I’ll tell you a bit more about that. This is part of the Chroma series. Chroma is like Europe, but Teslagrad is the main capital of Elektropia, which is like Norway to Russia, like the technological / electrical sciences area. England is like Angloria, which is about biomechanics and the you have other areas (like France) that are the great mechanical parts of the world.

Originally we made a game called Minute Mayhem, which was like a top-down arcade battle Olympics, where all the nations took part because it was marginally safer than war. So they’d have champions to duel instead, like a half-comedy battle game. So Teslagrad is a bit more serious to that extent, but it’s in the same universe, there are comedic aspects to the game as well, with a comic art style.

Marte Haugsbø: So Teslagrad is a small part of the universe, there are four nations and Elektropia is just one of them. So this sets the tone and introduces the Universe and we can then expand on that. We have all these four nations all worked out, so we can build on this idea. Now we’ve shown you Teslagrad so, hey, let’s show you Angloria or let’s show you Motorland, let’s build on it.

So we have this whole Universe which is one of our strengths, I think, because a lot of Indie games will release one title then do something completely different, but we have a whole Universe that we want to tell you guys about.

NL: Are you targeting this year on all platforms, or just PC?

Marte Haugsbø: Ideally we’ll release it on all platforms at the same time. But since the release on Wii U and PS3 is out of our hands, because of quality control etc, we don’t know if they’ll be ready at the same time. But definitely this year, as long as everything goes to plan and we can get the Wii U version working properly, knowing in our hearts that there’s no horrible bugs. We cannot say for sure, because we’re really dedicated to delivering a quality product.

6th November 2013 – Begin your warm up routine in preparation for a new round of competitive action as Wii Sports Club - presenting remastered sports from the original Wii Sports - releases exclusively on Nintendo eShop[1] for Wii U tomorrow, 7th November, with the sports Tennis and Bowling available from launch[2]. With a new online multiplayer versus mode allowing you to join a club and challenge players from other countries[3], plus HD graphics and enhanced controls via Wii MotionPlus technology, which add an extra layer of precision to how you play, the competition is set to be more intense than ever before!

If you are a Wii U owner who downloads Wii Sports Club, you will get a trial pass that will let you play any available games for a 24-hour period from when the Wii Sports Club game is started for the first time. Once the trial period ends, you can purchase a Day Pass[4] on Nintendo eShop for £1.79[5] to play all available sports for a 24-hour period, or can buy permanent access to individual sports for £8.99 each.

In short, the greater your personal win percentage against competitors from different clubs, the higher your club will rise up the rankings. Alternatively, you can view how your performances compare against other members of your club. For example in Bowling, if you find other club members have a higher average score per game, it might be time to perfect those 7-10 splits a little longer! When competing online, don’t forget you can also interact with other players via Miiverse during a game, with the option to send pre-written short messages or posts to congratulate or commiserate with your opponent.

To discover more about Wii Sports Club, a new video starring Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf is now live, with Mr Agassi playing Tennis and taking on an unexpected challenger - the video is available to view here.

For those wanting to get a detailed low-down on Wii Sports Club, a new Iwata Asks interview reveals more details behind the making of the game, what to expect with the upcoming releases for Wii Sports Club – Golf, Baseball and Boxing, plus a video of Nintendo President Satoru Iwata playing Tennis with some of the game’s developers!

[1] Depending on the Wii U hardware pack you own and your use of it, an additional storage device may be required to download this game from Nintendo eShop.

Coming from a Famitsu interview with Hisashi Koinuma, dev involved with every Dynasty Warriors title since the first.

"I think there are many reasons, but one of the big ones could be that we release them right around the launch of each new system. Putting whatever tech or visuals we couldn't do with other hardware into a new Warriors game adds a very direct sort of excitement for the player, and I think that has given us a certain amount of share in gamers' minds. It's not something that we deliberately decide beforehand, but we know how that mindshare works, so sooner or later it naturally becomes an atmosphere of 'We better make sure our games don't stray too far out of the hardware launch window'."
