Coming from a GamesTM interview with Eiji Aonuma...

“Although there may be technical difficulties, we rarely let that be a reason to avoid adding things to the game. In Skyward Sword, it was a technical challenge to make Link’s sword swings match the motion controls completely and I was a little worried whether the users would be happy about this innovation. Enthusiast gamers often have strong attachments to traditional controls, but I believed that in the end many users would enjoy the unique gameplay and we went ahead with it.”

A portion of a Nintendo Life review...

While it makes the most of the unique functionality that the 3DS has to offer, it’s woefully repetitive and quickly becomes a monotonous affair. Beyblade fans may find enjoyment in its accurate depiction of the franchise’s universe, but that doesn’t disguise the fact that this is a flawed title that is clearly lacking in entertainment value.

Looks like one character has gotten a bit of a color overhaul in the transition form Japan to Europe. I wonder why that is.

As many of you eagle-eyed backers may have noticed the emails confirming your pledge amounts and reward selections, as well as consolidating multiple pledges, have yet to arrive. Well we can assure you that the emails are all set to go and the only reason they haven't been sent yet is that apparently the Internet freaks out and runs away screaming into the night when you try to send 19,861 emails at the same time.

I know it's often doom and gloom with most online outlets when you talk about Nintendo, even when the company is doing well. I thought I'd share a nice article that steers very clear of all that nonsense, and instead offers up some praise where it's certainly due.

Seriously...this is an insane deal. Check out the confirmation of this deal straight from a FutureShop board admin...

Bring a copy of ANY used Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or the Wii U game (one that works and has the original jewel case) and you can trade it in for a current generation (Xbox360, PS3 or WiiU) version of: Assassin’s Creed IV, Call of Duty: Ghosts or Battlefield 4.
