"It's very kind of you to have me with such talented people, but I really consider myself to be an apprentice, where Miyamoto is a master. Well, maybe an advanced apprentice!"
On why Rayman and the Rabbids split into two franchises
"Rayman as a character and a type of game became a bit muddled, so we split the franchises (Rayman and Rabbids). We must be careful not to lose the soul of the franchise. Now we're really aiming to make Rayman a reference to fun and social platforming."
Wondering how much time it takes to beat The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds with a 100% completion? Dutch outlet N1ntendo is claiming they've wrapped up their review copy with 100% completion in 18.5 hours. A nice bit of playtime to be sure. We'll see how that measures up with the general populous once the game releases. Thanks to Dragoon for the heads up!

I hope you can handle another solo show! It worked out once again that none of the crew was around, so I captained the podcast once again. I still had plenty to talk about, including answering some of your Super Mario 3D World and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds questions!
Want to pick up Nintendo Land as a digital purchase? Well, for whatever reason, you can't do that now. The game has up and vanished from the Wii U eShop in the states. No rhyme or reason to it, for what we can see. Hopefully the title returns sometime soon.

We know the difference between sold-through and sold-in, but these TV personalities don't. Not a huge deal, but I wonder if any corrections will be made.
A portion of an ONM interview with Shigeru Miyamoto...
ONM: So, what was the last non-Nintendo game that you played?
SM: There's a videogame in Japan called Puzzle & Dragons [it's a drop-down puzzle game - Ed]? That's a game that I've sat down simply as a consumer and played.
ONM: These days, do you think you're more intense, or more chilled out as a boss?
SM: I don't think I've changed much. I'm pretty tough, but I'm tough on the product, not the people. Because we're always preparing with the customer in mind it's a matter of being tough so we meet that expectation.
In particular, we spend two, maybe three years making a game. If you spend all that time and people aren't satisfied with it, then all that time you spent on it has been wasted. That's why I'm strict when it comes to final quality. That's where I'm toughest.
