Taking that March 6th, 2015 release date will now be Matthew Vaughn’s comic book adaptation THE SECRET SERVICE. It was originally scheduled for release on November 14, 2014. Fox also announced that their video game adaptation, ASSASSINS CREED has been pushed back from FANTASTIC FOUR’s new date and is now scheduled to open on August 7th, 2015.

Turns out the sources of those Assassin’s Creed: Rising Phoenix images have been found. Unfortunately, they turned out to be completely fake. One is from an upcoming Wolfenstein game and another was an artist's rendering.

A portion of a NintendoEnthusiast interview with Matthew and Michael Taranto of BitFinity...

NE: What has been your interaction with Nintendo so far in regards to becoming approved as a developer and getting dev kits?

MATTHEW: They’ve been very inviting to new developers like us. While some of their requirements can be a little strict (we were initially rejected a year ago from getting a dev kit because of a lack of experience), they’ve encouraged us to keep trying and stay focused. And it worked, as once we contacted them with the new demo, they allowed us to announce the stretch goal.

NE: Have you begun doing any research and development into doing the Wii U version? What Wii U specific additions do you hope to make?

MATTHEW: We’ve been in talks with Nintendo for awhile, but we’re waiting on the dev kit to make sure we can afford it. If the Wii U version becomes a reality (yes please!), we’d love to use the GamePad in cool ways. First and foremost, there’s definitely going to be off-TV play, because I love it. But we’d also like to experiment with some multiplayer functionality using the GamePad’s touchscreen. That’s about all I can say for now, since I want to make sure it’s feasible first…

NE: When do you estimate the release?

MICHAEL: We feel we can have the game complete and ready to play by next December.

A portion of a USGamer review...

Although very different to its console-based counterpart, the 3DS version of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures is equally forgettable.

Coming from Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot...

"Open world games are becoming ever-more popular with gamers. These creations give gamers the freedom of expression and immersive experiences that are now central to their expectations. This deep-seated market trend – which Ubisoft has fully embraced – is going to move up another gear when the next-generation consoles arrive."

A portion of a 4cr interview with Dreamlords Digital CEO, Russell Benjamin B. Tomas...

4cr: Since you’re developing on Unity, have you considered porting the game to consoles such as the Wii U, PS4 or XBO?

RT: Initially, we weren’t really thinking about it but after feedback from people [including you :) ] we are actually considering at least at Wii U for now. These are stretch goals but if we actually manage to finish the game, i think we will still port them to the different platforms, not just as fast. For PS4 and XBO, it will depend on Unity and their support and final plans for those platforms. We would love to work on those consoles though. I mean, who wouldn’t want to work on next gen consoles. That would be awesome.

Since we’re building the game on Unity, we don’t expect much trouble porting the game to consoles. I think after we port them, a lot of the time will be spent on testing and QA more though.

The latest LEGO videogame adventure is based on the popular LEGO Friends collection of building sets, providing a fun adventure that allows players to express their imagination and creativity.

Here we are, one week after Batman: Arkham Origins launched in Australia and it appears that there's still an issue. We heard on day one that DLC and Club Nintendo codes weren't working, but one whole week later and the issue still stands. Nintendo Australia is yet to comment on the situation.

The real letdown comes with the Wii U version, which sees owners of Nintendo's console once again left with a sub-par experience marred by frequent frame-rate issues and some pretty striking texture quality problems that makes it hard to recommend when both 360 and PS3 offer up smoother gameplay and more enjoyable online play as a result.
