A portion of a 4cr interview with Night in the Woods devs Infinite Fall...

4cr: Does that mean that Night In the Woods will stay only on PC and Mac, or are you considering porting to consoles (Wii U, PS4, XBO)?

IF: We’re considering consoles, but there is a lot to consider before we can make a decision.

No idea what this is all about, but it comes from Atlus' site. Could a certain medical series be making a return?!

Did you know that absolutely everything Masahiro Sakurai says is recorded? That's what Sakurai says in his latest Famitsu column. Why is that, you ask?

"It remains as an accurate recording. The people under supervision can check over and pick up things that would become blurred in something like a written memo. Everything I say or talk about is recorded as is, but to be honest, it doesn't feel very good. You know how most people don't really like listening to [a recording of] their own voice?"

This doesn't appear to be something that's happening at all Walmart stores. On top of that, we have no idea why this particular store has yanked all Wii U goodies. Apparently, XB1/PS4 spaces is already allotted, so that can't be it. Is this preparation for Black Friday or is something else going on? Thanks to all that sent this in!

I'm going to resist all urges to make jokes about bust size in this post. I'll pretend that I'm above those sort of jokes. I'm really not, but I'll keep professional for the site! If you're wondering, Senran Kagura Burst takes up 13,932 blocks if you're going for the download option. Thanks to VGAMER for the heads up!

Torrance, Calif., (November 14, 2013) – XSEED Games, the independent-minded console publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., today announced that the anime-style ninja brawler, SENRAN KAGURA Burst, has launched and is now available for download on the Nintendo eShop in North America, exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS hand-held system, at a price of $29.99. Fans can check out gameplay in an all-new trailer introducing the playable characters of the Hebijo Clandestine Girls’ Academy at the asset download FTP provided below.

SENRAN KAGURA Burst is a high energy side-scrolling battle adventure set in a prestigious academy which serves as a front for an underground school, where female students are secretly trained in the art of ninjutsu. The story is told with its own sense of humor, and consists of two separate storylines – Skirting Shadows, which introduces players to the “good shinobi” of Hanzō Academy, and its counterpart, Crimson Girls, which turns the tables to tell the same tale from the rival Hebijo Clandestine Girls’ Academy’s point of view.

In SENRAN KAGURA Burst, players take control of their chosen school’s five primary female characters on their quest to become full-fledged shinobi. Within the academy’s “Ninja Room” hub, character interactions reveal the thoughts and feelings of the students before and after each game mission. Adventure novel-style story scenes then precede other missions, offering a deeper look into the world of SENRAN KAGURA, which extends beyond just the games to an anime and manga series in Japan. Throughout the game, players will complete combat assignments for each of the main characters, including retrieval missions, multi-character battles and epic boss fights to advance the game’s plot. During combat, damage to the girls is revealed through the gradual destruction of their shinobi outfits, eventually leaving them in their bikinis when they’re in danger of being KO’d. Fans of the series will be delighted to experience the original Japanese voice-overs, which have been left intact and will be accompanied by English subtitles.

Players can earn experience and level up throughout the story, unlocking new moves, powers and outfits. The Nintendo 3DS system’s stereoscopic 3D capability is supported, allowing Shinobi Transformations, special moves, victory poses and a few additional surprises to be viewed in full 3D. SENRAN KAGURA Burst is developed by Tamsoft together with MarvelousAQL Inc. of Japan, and is now available courtesy of XSEED Games on the Nintendo eShop in North America. The game is rated T for Teen by the ESRB. For more information on XSEED Games products, visit www.xseedgames.com, and fans can also follow XSEED Games on Facebook at and Twitter.

Back when the SNES first came out, it came with a poster tucked inside the box. As any good Nintendo fan would, I hung up that poster in my bedroom. The poster was filled with screens of upcoming games. At the very bottom of that poster was The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. For months and months, I'd sit and stare at those screens every day after school, imagining the adventure that Nintendo was cooking up. Somehow, some way, the actual game managed to live up to the hype I built up in my head.

Fast-forward to The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. When I first saw the game announced, those memories of sitting in my room waiting for the game to release hit me full-force. Alongside that feeling was a bit of nervousness as well. Could Nintendo really do a sequel to A Link to the Past that did the original justice? Would they risk tainting the classic by trying to recapture the magic?

Well I'm done worrying now. If you've been worrying as well, you should stop right now. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds not only manages to live up to A Link to the Past, it also evolves the Zelda series in some very important ways. The future of Zelda is here now, and it took a Link to the Past to make it happen.
