Another Kickstarter success that has lead to Wii U support. The Kickstarter for Churbles recently shifted around some funding tiers, making it possible for a Wii U version at $25,000. That goal has now been hit, so a Wii U support is locked in!
Looks like the quest to get Shiny Pokemon has just become a bit easier. Over on Reddit, a group of Pokemon X/Y players have set out to pair players with eggs that will offer up a Shiny when hatched. This is thanks to the Instacheck Hotspot program that hunts out shiny values for eggs/trainers. All that's left is for the right Pokemon trainer to be paired with a shiny egg. You can check out more details at the official thread below.
Plenty to talk about in this week's show. News about Mario and Zelda, plus our regular music, questions and what we played sections. Feels so good to be regular!
We've had an update on the dev status of Pier Solar HD. Last we heard, the game was coming to Wii U this year. The team behind the game has now stated that the title will be pushed back for all platforms until March 2014.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is an incredibly hard sell to anyone who isn’t heavily invested in the show already, but there’s probably just enough content in here to keep fans entertained for a few hours.

A new type of gaming challenge, from the creators of RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and LostWinds. Coaster Crazy Deluxe takes you on a journey around the world (and to the moon) to build a cash-making coaster empire with ever-more insane creations. Unlock more special pieces, coaster cars and track types that let you earn even more cash, and meet the fiendish challenges posed by the Crazy characters in the game.
They are demanding customers:
Can you make your coaster fast enough to get the speed freak surfing with delight?
Can you keep G-forces low enough to prevent the Professor’s Nitro Glycerin from exploding?
Can you beat a coaster score before the zombie starts infecting other passengers?
Can you do that all at the same time?
And what will happen to the little old lady if your ride is too intense?
And then there’s the Mayor. Alien. King. Policeman. Queasy guy. Accountant. And sheep..
Wondering what Ubisoft has planned for the Wii U? When they were asked that very question, their answer wasn't too hot.
Ubisoft has a long-standing relationship with Nintendo. Most recently this has been reinforced by our varied and high-quality line-up for Wii U, with big titles including Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, Just Dance 2014, Rayman Legends, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist already released and Watch Dogs on the way.” - Ubisoft rep
Now you could chalk this up to a standard rep response, meaning it's bound to not have any real info. On the other hand, you could take this as a sign that Ubisoft is pulling back on the Wii U.
Looks like Nintendo has really been putting Monolith Soft to work! They've had yet another surprise pop-up in game credits, this time coming from The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. With all this work on other Nintendo franchises, you have to wonder how their own game is progressing!
