I am clearly up on the Pokemon world as some of you, but I try my best to get some important info out there. Case in point, this silhouette for Keldeo. The pic is said to come from CoroCoro, which should mean that more images are on the way.

It's not supposed to active until tomorrow, but the MewTwo wifi event is up-and-running right now! Now you can take advantage of the fun a little bit early! Thanks to Serebii for the heads up!

It was hard for us to trust Pokémon again after Gold and Silver came out. We had spent years learning every minute detail about the original 151, and suddenly all of that work and devotion was worthless? What's more, it needed repeating with 100 more Pokemon? We may have been young tykes, but we were old enough to feel broken.

Regardless, the Kanto Pokemon still hold a special place in our hearts, and it's endearing to see one of the most awesome monsters in the OG Pokedex coming back into the fold. Starting on February 12, Mewtwo (#150 for you whippersnappers out there) will be distributed to Pokémon White/Black via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service "for a limited time."

Further information about the event is forthcoming, but we do know that the legendary clone comes packing "an exclusive move that Mewtwo cannot normally learn," which we're hoping is an ability that takes us back to the days of the PokeRap and Team Rocket's original voice actors.

Comprised of a series of battles held across Europe, the top 4 trainers from each tournament will win an all-expenses-paid trip to the Pokemon World Championship in sunny, distinctly non-european Hawaii, USA.

Players are separated into three divisions based on age: Junior, for those born after 2001, Senior, for those born between 1997 and 2000, and Master, for grizzled old Poke-veterans born before 1996. All participants must bring their own (3)DS and must battle using their regions' version of Pokemon Black/White. The latest National Pokedex has been opened for use, meaning that all all 646 Pokemon are eligible for ranked tournament battles, save for a small handfull of legendary and extremely rare monsters. Starting now, when you cross the Dream Bridge in the Pokémon Dream World, you may take a hike through the Rugged Mountain area! The Rugged Mountain is a dense region of rocky hills, tall trees, and winding paths where you’ll find lots of interesting Pokémon. Be on the lookout for Ground-, Fighting-, and Fire-type Pokémon as you explore the area. If you’re lucky, you may also come across items specific to such a mountainous area, including valuable stones that trigger Pokémon Evolution!

Some of the Pokémon you encounter in the Rugged Mountain area will invite you to play an exciting new minigame! In this game, you’ll help Sableye navigate a mine cart across a series of platforms. Draw symbols to guide the mine cart where you want it to go, and pick up as many prizes as you can along the way!

You can start exploring the Rugged Mountain area right away. Just visit the Pokémon Global Link and sign in with your Pokémon Trainer Club account. Remember, if you want to bring the Pokémon and items you find back to your Pokémon Black Version or Pokémon White Version game, you must register your Game Sync ID before exploring the Rugged Mountain!

Have you ever been to a Pokemon tournament? I've been to events where Pokemon games were being playing in contests, but I've never been to one of the full-on tournaments. I could never actually participate in one of these events, but I'd love to go check one out. From this article, it certainly sounds like it would be a lot of fun!
