Ace Combat: Assault Horizon is entering PC airspace early next year in Europe. The 2011 flight combat sim is firing down on retailers and on Steam and Games for Windows Marketplace in Q1 2013, priced at €29.99. Publisher Namco Bandai says the new port has PC-optimized graphics and controls, features "many" of the DLC goodies made available on PS3 and Xbox 360, and grants instant access to additional aircrafts, aircraft skins, skills, and maps. We've reached out to Namco Bandai to confirm a North American release.

Assault Horizon is also docking on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Games on Demand this year, tomorrow (Nov. 28) and December 18 respectively in Europe, and comes to North America's PSN via today's update. Stand-alone versions on both platforms cost €19.99, but PSN also gets an 'Advanced Edition' which bundles in Tokyo and Honolulu maps as well as a fleet of extra aircraft, including the ASF-X Shinden II, F-15S/MTD, Su-37 Terminator, AV-8B Harrier II plus, CFA-44 Nosferatu , and Ka-50 Hokum. The Advanced Edition jets in at €29.99.

In case the mobile version of Super Hexagon has left you with a criminally short attention span, we'd like to remind everyone that the PC and Mac version of Terry Cavanagh's brutally challenging game is now available on Steam.

It's currently on sale for two measly dollars, a full dollar off the usual price of three measly dollars. Or, if you really hate your friends, you can snag a two-pack for $3.34, saving a buck and change on the usual price of $4.99.

Steam captured 6,046,207 people signed in at one time yesterday, setting a record for the service. Looks like those Steam sales are working for someone.

In January, Steam reported a concurrent-user high of 5 million during the 2011 Holiday Sale, along with more than 40 million accounts. Today, Steam has an excess of 50 million registered users and more than 2,000 games for them to play.

And, at least for now, some of those games are super cheap. Don't think of the Steam sales as blatant, bold ploys for your user numbers; just think of them as win-win situations.

Hi there Toki Tori fans!!!

It took a while, but today we put a brand new Steam beta online! It's got a huge batch of new content and should play close to final! We're in desperate need of your recordings, so we've basically given you a third of the entire game to play through. Be careful though, since there is a lot of near final content in this build, only play it if you don't want any spoilers!

How to record your session?
To record your playsession, simply press 'R' and press 'Record' before you start playing.

How to submit your session?
To submit your recorded level, press 'Stop' and then 'Show File'. This will open een file dialog. Zip the resulting file and e-mail (tokitori2 [at] twotribes [dota] com) it to us and we are forever grateful!

Thanks!

You’d think I would’ve figured this out by now. Every year, Steam hosts one of its wallet-eviscerating sales right around American Thanksgiving (or, as it’s known to many of you, Thursday), yet I consistently fail to budget the necessary amounts of money or time for its incredible bounties. One reason for this might be that it’s impossible. Indeed, it would require setting aside all the money in the world and forever, respectively, and I don’t have either of those things. Alas. But good gravy, these are – as ever – some terrifyingly enticing deals. Can you say Darksiders II for 66 percent off? How about Walking Dead at 50 percent? Anybody want to give me a loan? And, er, immortality?
