Nintendo has announced that once Masahiro Sakurai is finished with Kid Icarus: Uprising that he'll be working on a new Smash Bros title. The game will be for Wii U and 3DS and work together "in some fashion." Details pending.

I don't know if I'm ready for this just yet

While Nintendo was blowing minds this morning with the announcement of its new console, the Wii U, the company's Japanese press site was quietly releasing all the juicy specs of the upcoming machine that we hunger for. As mentioned during the presser, the console will output high definition, now revealed as ranging from 480i to 1080p. Moreover, the Wii U will output HD by employing HDMI.

As far as internal storage goes, it's still unclear whether or not the Wii U will come packed with an HDD, but the specs sheet does amorphously detail "internal flash storage," as well as an SD slot and the ability to use USB storage. Notably, the list points out that the USB storage will allow for external HDDs. And while the disc slot gives us the impression that Wii U games will be disc-based, Nintendo has yet to reveal its medium of choice.

There's nothing but a signup page on the UK site at the moment, but it lets me into the US site after I registered. However, the program is under the impression my internet isn't good enough - maybe that'll change once they actually start the UK service proper.

the thing is, Nintendo is finally committing 100% to connectivity as an entire package. GBA and DS connectivity never went anywhere, because they never committed to it. Sony will, much like how they did with PS Move, try to tack on the latest fad to the PS3. I imagine that Microsoft will have Windows 8 tablets interface with Xbox 360 now too. It may be better tech, but it only works if everyone has it from the beginning.

That's basically the same as the DSi browser was, but I think this one loads slightly faster, plus I think it may be marginally better at loading complex sites.

It seems that site is using the same database as this one, but it hides everything but video game news. Is more going to be added over time or is that site intended to be a way to see just the news posts?
Also, Francis has yet to do anything with his dsphat.com domain.

This is a Digibutter-specific (though open to the public)server for MM8BDM, so yeah update MM8BDM if you haven't already, and join on in. You can download MM8BDM for the pc here and the mac version here

Since I will be on most of the time to mess around with maps I'm just going to let it roll out the maps in numerical order when I'm not here to manage becuase it messes up the server to have it go on a constant reset of the map list when there isn't someone to maintain the change of maps.
