PlayStation Lifestyle reports that Anonymous has clarified its position regarding attacks on Sony over the abhorrent SOPA law -- keeping in mind that Anonymous isn't a strongly cohesive "group," and so it's not entirely possible to ascribe a single point of view to it.

The opening message on the group's "#OpSony" IRC room was reportedly changed to "NO SOPA! NO ATTACK ON PSN!" In an area for planning "ops," the group suggested that "Doxing [posting personal documents] will occur on Sony executives." Other avenues of attack included hacking Sony websites to place anti-SOPA material.

This attitude is consistent with statements previously attributed to the group, expressing a desire not to inconvenience Sony customers while carrying out protests against Sony.

>This attitude is consistent with statements previously attributed to the group

That's what happens when there aren't any leaders in the group. Plans will fail simply because people aren't sure what to do or how to do it.

Originally discussed back in August, talk of a remade/remixed version of Adeline Software International's Little Big Adventure (known stateside as Relentless: Twinsen's Adventure) has resurfaced during an interview between GoG.com and the creative minds behind the series, Didier Chanfray, Frédérick Raynal and Sébastien Viannay.

Other than confirmation that a rerelease of the original Little Big Adventure is in the works, the team also hinted at the possibility of an eventual Little Big Adventure 3: "We obviously have a lot of ideas for a third part, our best fans already know some of them, but before telling you more we need to test some of them with the remake. Games are different nowadays and we don't want to be stuck in 90's." If only every developer could be so self-aware.

Multiplayer: Battlefield 3. duh, it's Battlefield. I'm tempted to build a new PC just for this game

Now I'll be able to host sessions regularly, so I figured we should give it another go.

Playing: 3.5e

Using: Fantasy Grounds II (v2.6.3 if it matters.)

Member of Diginet Army steam group a plus

Stick with human-like races (elves, dwarves, humans, etc.) and any monstrous humanoids (if it is humanoid and

a monster, but not called a monstrous humanoid in whatever book you're reading play it anyway)

Avoid anything with a level modifier of more than +1. +2s MIGHT be accepted

Unearthed Arcana and everything in it is banned, with the exception of any races that may be detailed in it

Racist as *crag* setting, don't expect monstrous humanoids to use their charisma bonuses for anything other than

     intimidate rolls

At character creation of a monstrous humanoid, choose any of the races detailed in the Player's Handbook.

You can assume the form of a member of the chosen race (ALWAYS the same form) as an at-will ability (free

action). While in this form all modifiers, with the exception of INT and WIS, are set to +0. You also can not cast

     spells while in that form.

The amorphous hacker collective known as "Anonymous" (or entities claiming to be, as it were) has once more announced its intentions to attack electronics manufacturer "Sony Company and Associates." Unlike the previous attack, which crippled Sony's PlayStation Network service during several months in the first half of 2011 and for which the group is suspected of involvement, this time the group pins its reasoning to Sony's support of the Stop Online Piracy Act ("SOPA").

In a video missive uploaded to YouTube, the group declares its intentions to "destroy your network," presumably referencing the aforementioned PlayStation Network employed by Sony's game consoles. It also names several famous targets it plans on going after, from Justin Bieber to Taylor Swift. Hasn't Taylor Swift been through enough, folks?

No timing is given for the purported attack, but we're putting our money on "pretty soon," if at all. Curiously, Anonymous only picks Sony for its scorn, though a variety of other companies across the game industry (including Sony's main competition, Nintendo and Microsoft) have signed on in support of SOPA. Joystiq, as you might imagine, has not, and neither has our parent company.

#pokemonpikachu Back in 1998, Pokémon was the shiz-nittle-bam-snip-snap-sack. Much like Ninja Turtles the decade before, Pokémon was -the- children's franchise. Even people who didn't watch the show could instantly recognize the American series mascot, Pikachu. It was during this time that Nintendo and Game Freak decided to release a giga-pet based on owning an actual Pokémon. And thus the Pokémon Pocket Pikachu was born. More »

Reading a headline like that, one might assume that such a ridiculous thing doesn't exist and is simply a joke. While we admit we enjoy the occasional bit of tomfoolery here, we assure you this is a real thing - Battle Duty: Modern Field 3 is an actual game available right now on the App Store.

It'll only cost you a buck to snag Imba Entertainment's satirical shooter. You'll need iOS 3.2 or higher on your iDevice to play it; gameplay consists of tapping soldier dudes to kill them. You can see what we mean in the trailer above.
