After hiding 17 years in the ground, the Magicicadas finally rise to fufill their only purpose in life: REPRODUCE.
They'll come up as nymphs without wings, then they will climb up the trees and hide themselves in a cocoon. Later, they will reveal their adult selves and take flight into the skies, doing their weird cicada sounds, and finding their mates. After mating, the females lay eggs and they die. Soon there will be thousands of dead cicada bodies and skins on the ground. Atleast the ground won't appear as if it's moving when the nymphs are still young.
So when hunting for Digital Butterflies this summer, be sure that you are catching butterflies and not a swarm of cicadas. Because they will be everywhere starting in about 6 days. Or atleast where I live..... in Flipside.
