Believe it or not, there are many, many music games out there that don’t follow the mainstream success of titles such as Guitar Hero and Rock Band. These games may not be as nearly as popular as those huge genres, but in my opinion, they are well worth your attention. These are the [...]

What did you think of when you first saw Wii Fit? Did you think that Nintendo had lost their minds? I bet you didn’t predict that the game would outsell Grand Theft Auto IV! I mean, some of us thought the title would do well, but I don’t think any of us [...]

A portion of a GamePro review… Genghis Khan II is simultaneously more and less accessible than its predecessors on Virtual Console. If you learn how to play it, it’s open-ended, flexible, and decently entertaining, without hitting you with five times your body weight in angry Japanese riflemen before you’ve had a chance to do much. A portion of a Siliconera review… Although there is a story as with a lot of Yoshifumi Hashimoto’s games, it it takes a backseat to the puzzle-solving and platforming. In fact, you’ll often find yourself wanting to skip as much of the dialogue as you possibly can because Kukri tends to get very annoying after a [...]

A portion of an RPGFan review… It’s fitting that Muramasa was released on the Nintendo Wii. It’s a “style over substance” game that is not likely to hold your attention for more than a few days. In other words, it’ll fit right in with the rest of the system’s library. Full review here (thanks Marl0!)

A portion of a Konsolifin interview with Michael Pachter… K: If Sony and Microsoft suffers from “Wii-nis envy” (a term Pachter created after E3 2009), then what does Nintendo suffer from? MP: Nintendo is probably making a mistake about online game play, and if not corrected, could ultimately lose some share to the others. Full interview here

A portion of a ThatGamingSite review… Jungle Beat is a good game that falls short in only a few areas none of which that should really stop you from considering purchase.
