A portion of a Nintendo Life review… On the whole, Altered Beast is a lame dog that should just be left to die. It hasn’t aged well at all, with horribly shallow gameplay that pales in comparison to Sega’s other classic 2D scrollers such as Shinobi, Golden Axe or Streets of Rage. Full review here

DSi-enhanced features labeled prominently on the box. I guess Nintendo doesn’t have an official logo for that just yet. I’m sure they’ll put out a game in the future that needs a logo, and you can be sure that it’ll change from what we see above. More boxart reviews here
