Have you ever seen this handheld before? It’s okay if you didn’t, as it really wasn’t that popular. The thing is, this original portable gaming machine had more than one element that inspired Nintendo to create the Game Boy.

Europe can’t get enough of Professor Layton…because of the boxart?
Look at how well Professor Layton is doing in Europe. It’s done so well that Iwata believes the original boxart has something to do with it. That’s why the sequel is getting boxart in North America that better reflects what the game is all about.

Ochaken no Heya DS 4 in the works
The tea dogs are coming back…for a 4th time! I can’t believe there have been 4 Ochaken no Heya DS games. I guess the series is pretty popular in Japan! Expect this latest entry to see release sometime this Winter.
