Sorry, North America, the Europeans may be trying Trine, but the game isn't coming out this week. There's always the new free content for Arkham Asylum ... there, there, doesn't that just help make the Trine pain melt away? No? Well, there's the picture search game Interpol and the classic Final Fantasy Tactics, along with plenty of other content that may be of interest. Check it all out after the break. Choose your platform to view the corresponding release list: (Note: Continue past the break to view both release lists.)

For those about to drop, we figured we'd let you know that Bungie.net has been updated to include stats from the upcoming Halo 3: ODST. Of course, there aren't many stats to speak of just yet, as the game is still a few days away from release. Still, it's nice to know that everything has been implemented. In addition to the stat tracking we've all come to know and love, a new "Road to Recon" feature has been added as well. This new feature keeps track of the achievements that players have to earn in order to unlock the extremely coveted Recon armor variant. Previously, the armor was available only to those who caught Bungie's notice, usually through some form of community notoriety (or Frankie Photoshopperie). It's important to remember that just because you can now haz Recon without resorting to such shenanigans, Bungie isn't making it easy. The achievement tracker should help you keep track of the ridiculously difficult Vidmaster Challenges. Like this one: "Finish any level solo on Legendary, on LIVE, with no shots fired or grenades thrown." Yeah, good luck.

Filed under: X3F TV It's a double dose of XBLA this week, with the release of both Bubble Bobble Neo and Red Alert 3: Commander's Challenge. The former is a classic Taito arcade game, while the latter is a standalone expansion to Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3. Both of them have their charms and both, as it happens, cost 800 ($10). Watch this week's XBLA in Brief and see if either one tickles your fancy. Some brand new clothing options have appeared on Xbox Live Marketplace. Dubbed the 'Urban Culture' collection, the clothes range from loose fitting jeans to sweet hats to golden pumps. There's also a nifty shirt with what appears to be a pair of "Kanye" shades hanging around the neck. They range in price from 80 ($1) to 240 ($3) and are available right now. [Via @MajorNelson]

Comprising approximately 3.22% of DJ Hero's 93-song list of tracks, Cut Chemist and J.Period were announced today as joining the enormous list of artists contributing to the game. According to an emailed press release from Activision, J.Period will be creating two "exclusive" new mixes for the game, Q-Tip's "Good Thang" vs. Billy Squier's "Big Beat" (as seen above) and Gang Starr's "Just to Get a Rep" vs. Mobb Deep's "Shook Ones, Part 2." Elusively, Activision says Cut Chemist will be offering "a mix featuring unreleased music from one of the biggest bands in the world." The publisher didn't offer word on whether or not that's a confirmation of the JoBro "Burnin' up" vs. Tupac's "All Eyez on Me" mash-up we've been hoping for, unfortunately.

A portion of a 4cr review… Its gameplay is both fun and challenging (if frustrating for the rhythm-impaired). While the interface and presentation could be shined up a bit, I have to give the developers credit for trying something a bit different.

The game being shown does not refer to a Wii title, but the comments made and the final outcome definitely deal with things we’ve been discussing on GoNintendo. Remember when Activision CEO Bobby Kotick said this? If that sounds like it would create a corporate culture that isn’t all sunshine and hugs, then it’s “mission accomplished” for [...]

Over at the Platinum Games blog, Bayonetta weapon designer Muneyuki "Johnny" Kotegawa has posted a short preview of some of the weapons that will appear in the game. Specifically, Kotegawa shows off four of the weapons in the game, all of which definitely have that Devil May Cry flair to them. First up are the guns of Bayonetta's rival, Jeanne. Named "All for One," the guns summon bullets magically and have angel feathers hanging from the grips. There's also Shuraba, a katana with an unnamed "special feature" in its handle. And let's not forget the snake whip -- which has an actual snake demon in it -- Kulshedra. Perhaps the best of the bunch are the rocket launching tonfas known as -- wait for it -- Lt. Col. Kilgore. Our favorite feature of the rocket tonfas, as told by Kotegawa: "You can, of course, equip these on your legs for a Tonfa Kick, or two." Well, of course.
