A portion of a VideoGamer review… …if you’re a Wii owner you could do far worse. And for some crazies out there, the whole constant death replay entire stages thing will be like vanilla milkshake: aka as good as it gets.

The gaming slime, best known for its appearance in the Dragon Quest series. Actually there may be quite a few gamers that aren’t familiar with the Dragon Quest slime, seeing as how the franchise isn’t very popular over here. Perhaps the upcoming Dragon Quest Wars on DSiWare will change that!

Showing the far reaching effects of football ("soccer" for us Americans) fandom in a succinct two minute video, EA Sports asks UK residents in its latest ad for FIFA 10, "How big can football get?" From the looks of the insanity in the commercial (found after the break), we're going out on a limb here and saying, "Substantially large." Would you care to up that wager with a "significantly enormous?" Maybe a "demonstrably massive?"

Trish Stratus is making a Yoga game. We told you this news last week, and now the internet is taking their favorite ex-WWE wrestler, and putting together some boxarts for her upcoming game. I think I know which one would sell more…but to an audience that wouldn’t even want the game! Once [...]

Last Ninja 2 (Commodore 64, 1 player, 500 Wii Points)We say: Save your sawbuck This week's VC in Brief is all about Last Ninja 2, the story of one ninja trapped in 1988 New York city. For me, it was more the story of ninja persecution at the hands of the NYPD, but, to be fair, juggling clowns in the park didn't seem to like me either. Regardless, I found that Last Ninja 2 -- much like its predecessor -- just isn't for me. Every week, we like to check out what's new on the Virtual Console. We offer these videos as a sort of taste to help you decide whether or not you would want the game in question. We also toss in our own two cents because we're pushy jerks.

The top two games on the Media Create charts for the week ending September 13 are Pokemon HeartGold and Pokemon SoulSilver. Despite coming out just one day before the end of that week, the games managed to outsell everything else in Japan, almost by a factor of ten. The distribution of the 1,442,990 copies sold was pretty evenly split between the two versions, with Soul Silver's 722,904 copies edging out Heart Gold's 720,086.The number three spot belongs to Tomodachi Collection, also on the DS, followed by Dragon Quest IX, PS3's Gundam Senki, and Wii Sports Resort. The only other new game in the top ten is MAPLUS Portable Navi 3, a PSP map/navigation program.

A portion of a Nintendo Life review… My Sims Camera’s saving grace is its relatively low price, and when you consider that Nintendo have charged the same for clock applications and calculators, My Sims Camera isn’t a terrible purchase. Saying that, unless you’re a fan of the series it’s perhaps best to steer well clear of [...]

Have people been clamoring for more Achievements in Lips? Is this something people want? We're asking an honest question here, because we really don't know. Regardless of the demand, it appears to be true, with Xbox360Achievements.org spotting nine new Achievements for the game, adding another 250 points. It's unclear if these Achievements are available now, or will be made available as part of future DLC. It's also curious that these Achievements would be added so close to the launch of Lips: Number One Hits. Whatever the truth is behind this mystery, we're sure exuberant box art models everywhere will be thrilled! [Thanks, NBA Kirkland]

Late last week, we reported that Italian site MondoXbox had spotted an ad for an Xbox 360 802.11n adapter in the Gears of War 2 Game of the Year Edition box. Prior to that, the device was reviewed by the FCC. Speaking to Joystiq, Microsoft has confirmed that there is indeed such an adapter in the works. Unfortunately, the confirmation was accompanied by few actual details. Other than the fact that the adapter will allow gamers to "seamlessly connect with their home network with the highest wireless 'N' technology," we don't know anything about when it will release or, more importantly, how much it will cost. Microsoft did refer to the device as "another choice to consumers," which lends credence to the belief that it will be marketed alongside the current Wi-Fi adapter, as opposed to replacing it altogether. Microsoft stated that more details will be available "soon" and advised us all to "stay tuned."
