During a lunch event conveniently located both near TGS proper and extremely near our hotel (so near, in fact, that it was in it), NIS America announced two new games for PlayStation systems. Atelier Rorona, the latest in Gust's Atelier RPG series (and recently confirmed for Europe), will be released in North America in summer of 2010, and the sequel to the improbably-titled Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do to Deserve This? will be released for PSP in North America in early 2010. We guess the title didn't hurt sales too much!NIS didn't have assets at the moment, but we were able to find screenshots through the magic of remembering that the game came out in Japan last year.

Among the handful of other things announced at Sony's second press conference during the Tokyo Game Show, Capcom's Jun Takeuchi took the stage to demo the PlayStation 3's new motion controller with his game, Resident Evil 5. That's right, Sony will be bringing motion control to a handful of existing titles, including a re-released RE5 in Resident Evil 5: Director's Cut this Spring.Sony also showed off LittleBigPlanet being controlled by multiple folks wielding not only a motion wand but also a DualShock 3. Apparently a mess of other titles will be getting the motion treatment -- 13 in total -- with Flower and Pain standing out as notable examples.

Think of it this way. You can consider your glass the Tetris board, and if you do make a line in your glass, it’ll eventually disappear. The best real-life version of Tetris ever…because it tastes great!

"Going with an imaginary creature makes it feel much more real," ICO and Shadow of the Colossus creator Fumito Ueda explained in a new video revealed at the Tokyo Game Show. "None of the elements we're mixing together actually exist, but they feel like they do."Ueda's previous games were praised for being able to push players to emotions rarely expressed in most games. After watching this trailer from Tokyo Game Show, it seems certain that Ueda might be able to pull off a hat trick with The Last Guardian.
