How do you go about creating games that take traditional genres, but turn them into something fresh? Robin Hunicke (Boom Blox), Jenova Chen (fl0w, Flower) and Keita Takahashi (Katamari Damacy, Noby Noby Boy) talked about at their Indiecade panel. As you can see from the image above, a barrage of ideas had popped up during [...]

Like this week's NintendoWare Weekly update, this week's Nintendo Channel goodies are a bit on the light side. Sure, there's the launch video for Dead Space Extraction and the new Nintendo Week show, but the real prize is the new TV spot for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. For the rest of this week's content, head past the break.

Giant robots on a tiny screen? How unthinkably farcical! From Software managed to see beyond this astute observation earlier this year when it ported Armored Core 3, a six-year-old PS2 title, to the PSP in Japan. It looks like America will also be exposed to this amusing juxtaposition, as the ESRB recently rated a U.S. version of Armored Core 3 Portable. From Software has yet to officially reveal a stateside version of the mega-mech sim, but we predict we'll be hearing just such an announcement soon. Hopefully, it'll be accompanied by a English-language version of the above trailer. (Such drama! It's like a robot-centric soap opera!)

At the link below, you’ll get a video interview with the guys that are doing the music for Rabbids Go Home. Well, it’s not so much of a video interview as it is a music video. I love the tunes in this game!

When Microsoft told us that the new 802.11n adapter for Xbox 360 would be "another choice for consumers," we began to develop these crazy hopes that it would give consumers the choice to pay less than a hundred bucks for wireless 360 connectivity, either through a lower price point for itself or with a price drop on the existing wireless adapter. If GameStop's listings are any indication, however, that's not to be. According to the retailer, the new device will sell for the same $99.99 as the current Wi-Fi adapter upon its release on November 3. Though there's still hope for the price on the existing adapter to drop, it too is currently listed at $99.99. Basically, consumers will now have the choice of which wireless protocol they prefer. [Thanks, Jugger G]

We showed you guys the pilot episode of Game Damage way back in December. Now you can get a look at what the first season will have in store. Yahtzee does a great job with Zero Punctuation, but can he do well with a live-action cast?

Considering the amount of concept art and leaked details we've heard concerning Disney Interactive Studios and Junction Point's upcoming collaboration, this might not come as a shock to you, but the cover of the next issue of Game Informer confirms the existence of Epic Mickey. Details are slim, but we now know that it'll be a Wii-exclusive action title, and, based on the paintbrush grasped by the iconic rodent on the cover, we suspect it will incorporate the illustrative elements mentioned by an anonymous informant back in July. Hopefully more details will surface when Game Informer's interview with Warren Spector goes live later today. For now, revel in the fact that the title is real -- and based on the art seen on the magazine's cover, it might just deserve its "epic" designation.

Sure, we get it. You're interested in seeing the last chapter of the new Prince of Persia, you're just not quite as interested as some of your buddies. It's hard to put a number on, but let's say you're ... 30 percent less interested. Well, friend, your moment has arrived: the Prince of Persia Epilogue DLC has bee slashed from 800 ($10) to 560 ($7) as the latest XBLM Deal of the Week. If you've already purchased the content, you may want to ask Elika to rewind time and let you try again, but wouldn't that make it all too easy?

The World of Nintendo is a lot smaller than the regular world, as the whole thing can be picked up and moved around from town to town. This is mostly due to the fact that the World of Nintendo isn't actually a world at all! It's a traveling showcase of new Nintendo games. Today, Nintendo announced the tour's next stops. If you'd like to get an early look at The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks and New Super Mario Bros. Wii -- and why wouldn't you -- check out America's VideoGame Expo in Philadelphia from October 9 through 11, and NYC's Big Apple Comic-Con from October 16 through 18. In addition to those games, Nintendo will offer demos of a "selection of downloadable game titles on the WiiWare and Nintendo DSiWare services," and of recent Nintendo releases like Punch-Out!! and Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box.Does it strike anyone else as odd that Nintendo has given a name to showing new games at conventions?
