If you own more than one console, there's a sizable chance that you found The Conduit underwhelming. A commendable effort, sure, but not the world-rending behemoth we were all hoping for. That said, if you own multiple consoles, you probably also have enough money to afford a sweet custom rig. Thus we present a custom Wii dedicated to High Voltage's good ol' college try. While it might appear to be little more than a Wii with a face painted one side and a logo plastered on the other, the real magic happens when you turn it on, causing it to light up so very prettily. See it all in the detailed (and vaguely sensual) video after the break. [Thanks, John]

40 of Japan’s most famous video game composers have formed the ‘Video Game Sound Creator’s Alliance’. What is the purpose of this alliance? Well, none of the composers are talking about the project just yet! We have to wait until October 19th for the official site to launch, which will hopefully bring [...]

“Gonna Catch Em All” by Randis Albion Just admit it, this fan-art makes you feel really weird, doesn’t it?! I just want to reach in there and free that Pikachu…even if it doesn’t spring back to life.

Tim Magoolaghan is quite the modder and has made a Frankensteinian PSP. Aside from the second analog nub he slapped on this custom PSP-2000, he's also added a built-in camera, 32gb of Flash memory (eliminating the UMD slot) and a dedicated charging port that allows USB charging no matter what the handheld is currently doing. In the video interview where he shows off his creation (video past the break), there's also some emulation stuff going on due to the custom firmware, but we don't condone that kind of thing.Tim's whole motivation behind this custom PSP is that he wants to show consumers the older model can do wonderful things that the new PSP Go cannot. He says Sony's new device isn't very consumer friendly and while we think he has something there, it's overshadowed by the fact that he's sitting next to the most annoying woman on the planet. [Thanks, Robin!]

Yesterday Bethany told you guys that ToeJam and Earl were planned for Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing, but the rights to the characters couldn’t be obtained. Quite a bummer indeed. Of course, that little roadblock doesn’t concern SEGA fans! They’ve found the contact info for Greg Johnson, the man that holds the [...]

There's a confusing variety of 250GB PlayStation 3 bundles available in different regions. Put simply, the following theorem appears to hold true: if there's a high-profile PS3 game on the way this year, there is also a PS3 bundle for it somewhere in the world. The latest potential candidate for a bundle: Tekken 6, as suggested by this image posted by Dutch site Nextgamer. It matches the look of the Need for Speed Shift bundle box posted by Engadget, except it includes a note about the hard drive size, which is omitted from the Shift box. Sony UK revealed a surprising lack of investment in its worldwide operations when it told CVG that "We're not doing that bundle but one of the territories might be." Even if it is real, you don't get an arcade stick with this bundle, so it seems less than ideal.

Winter Sonata We’ve been talking a lot about Winter Sonata lately, a game based on a Japanese TV show. It’s very doubtful that this title would ever come to the states. I guess it all depends on just how well the game sells, and if a publisher believes that the title could exist outside [...]

I actually have an End of Day thought coming up that relates to this very topic. I know that media outlets don’t pay as much attention to Wii as they do 360 and PS3, and this statistic proves it. This is why I’ve added on a staffer to handle more reviews for us. [...]
