Final Fight 2 (SNES, 1 -2 players, 800 Wii Points) This week's offering punches the Virtual Console silly, continuing the adventures of everyone's favorite wrestler-turned-politician (What, you think Jesse Ventura deserves that honor? Pfft ...) in Final Fight 2. It doesn't innovate or really add much more to the original experience -- well, except for more dudes to punch. There are plenty more thugs to beat on, that's for sure. But what it lacks in innovation, it makes up for in dudes to punch. Seriously, do you wanna punch dudes? Because that's totally what's going on here. Every week, we like to check out what's new on the Virtual Console. We offer these videos as a sort of taste to help you decide whether or not you would want the game in question. We also toss in our own two cents because we're pushy jerks like that.

A portion of an NWR review… Dirt 2 is as vanilla a racer as you’re going to find on Wii. There are some unlockable videos and vehicle skins, but this is a very generic package that feels like it was phoned in.

The Achievement aficionados over at Xbox360Achievments.org have uncovered the Xbox 360 Achievements for Left 4 Dead 2. The Achievements offer some insane challenges -- "Survive a campaign on Expert skill with Realism mode enabled" -- and, if accurate, also confirm the recently uncovered "Dead Center" and "Hard Rain" campaigns. The Achievements also detail some new features and confirm other rumored features, most notably a defibrillator which can be used to revive teammates. Also mentioned is an adrenaline power-up to boost speed, deployable ammo upgrades and ... a bile bomb. We really hope that last one does what we think it does. Head over to X360A for the full list (warning: watch for spoilers ... and Tanks).

Two magazine pictures from two different times. The picture of Mr. Nagoshi (Super Monkey Ball) is looking snazzy with cigarette in-hand, and Itagaki is without his trademark sunglasses and long hair in this ancient picture. Man…quite the pair of chaps, don’t you think?!

Demon's Souls is not your friend, nor does it want or try to be. Your relationship is on its terms and you can love it or leave it. From Software's dungeon crawler comes from some sick, demented alternate plane of existence, where arcades are thriving and popping quarters into your console is how publisher Atlus recoups the costs of the game. It's a reality where Diablo was a tremendous flop because gamers have accepted masochism as the only measure for a game's quality. Demon's Souls is your leather-clad mistress and -- the worst part -- if you can withstand the pain for almost eight hours, you may, in what can only be described as a horrifying epiphany ... begin to enjoy it.

There's an interesting piece over at InternetNews.com about how hackers target Xbox Live accounts, and from it, we were able to get some good tips on how you can protect yourself from a similar threat. While you aren't able to hide your gamerscore, you can make your account a bit less desirable on the black market by hiding the games you've been playing. Avoid services like Mygamercard.net that promote your gamerscore and, in doing so, make you a larger target. Put fake information in your Xbox Live account, then use pre-paid cards to buy things and pay for the service, thereby making identity theft less damaging. No, we don't actually do any of these things, but if you're a worrywart you can't say we don't have your back.

If you’re willing to part with $50, you can grab yourself an import black Wiimote from Amazon. I don’t think that’s worth the price, but I know some of you will be interested! Grab yours right here (thanks Supa_S!)

The US has invested a healthy amount of money into combating the terrorist threat -- certainly a bit more than $100. According to a CNN report, one of a few experimental methods being used to identify suspicious dudes at the airport uses Nintendo's Wii Balance Board (sans Wii Fit Plus).Scientists part of the Future Attribute Screening Technology (FAST) program have taken the Wii Fit peripheral and adjusted it to measure how a person shifts their weight. Scientists hope to find "a level of fidgeting that would suggest the need for secondary screening." We're just glad we're not a part of the study, because every time we step on a Balance Board, we can't help but act like we're playing that awesome hula hoop minigame. That's a suspicious amount of fidgeting.[Via Kotaku]

You may see a Wii exercise bike accessory and think it's ridiculous. We think it's about time. Not because there's never been an exercise bike controller before, but because there has. The Life Fitness Exertainment System did the video game/exercise bike interface back in 1994, allowing players to pedal along with Mountain Bike Rally or Speed Racer. However, you had to order the thing, and it cost around $3500.While the bike accessory with Big Ben Interactive's Cyberbike has yet to be priced, we are certain it'll carry a more modest price point than the Life Fitness system. Unless the company has to make back what it'll lose when Ubisoft sues it for calling its other newly-announced exercise game My Body Coach.
