We've got some good news for anyone already feeling just a bit overwhelmed by the impending holiday game season. Toys R Us is running a "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" sale this week for all video games. Even better, the sale also covers accessories and items like Microsoft Points cards. Intrepid NeoGAFers have even uncovered some pre-orders that qualify for the promotion (any Dark Void or Bayonetta fans out there?). The sale ends Saturday, October 17, so hop to it if you're looking to save some cash. [Via Cheap Ass Gamer]

Update: A Valve representative has confirmed the veracity of the two posters as official, saying simply, "They're legit."It is with much necessary reservation that we bring you the two purported Left 4 Dead 2 campaign posters for "Dead Center" and "Hard Rain" that you see above, completing the set of five campaign missions. Found over on Taiwanese website GNN, we're highly skeptical of their veracity for the time being, but felt their quality at least bared mention -- if this isn't real thing, it's damn impressive. Being Danny Doubters though, we're still a bit thrown by consistency differences when compared to the game's other three posters. We've sent a note to Valve for comment, so until we hear back, the images will remain strictly in our "unconfirmed" pile. In the meantime, ponder this: "Dead Center" translated by Google from Mandarin Chinese is "Death Marketplace." Fact![Thanks, Lockwolf!]

The Achievement aficionados over at Xbox360Achievments.org have uncovered the Xbox 360 Achievements for Left 4 Dead 2. The Achievements offer some insane challenges -- "Survive a campaign on Expert skill with Realism mode enabled" -- and, if accurate, also confirm the recently uncovered "Dead Center" and "Hard Rain" campaigns. The Achievements also detail some new features and confirm other rumored features, most notably a defibrillator which can be used to revive teammates. Also mentioned is an adrenaline power-up to boost speed, deployable ammo upgrades and ... a bile bomb. We really hope that last one does what we think it does. Head over to X360A for the full list (warning: watch for spoilers ... and Tanks).Update: A Valve representative has confirmed the veracity of the two posters as official, saying simply, "They're legit."

Despite the continued absence of WiiWare, there's plenty of stuff to download this week if you have a Japanese Wii or DSi. After giving the DS version most of the year to sell, Nintendo has released the original SNES version of Kirby Super Star to the Virtual Console. It's joined by a Namco shooter, Baraduke, and its sequel, in the rare case of an entire series being released to the Virtual Console at once. Baraduke stars Kissy, who, in Namco's weirdly cross-game universe, would go on to marry Dig Dug's Taizo Hori and give birth to Susumu Hori, Mr. Driller.DSiWare has an especially full lineup this week, with two new cheapo G.G. Series games, one of which is some kind of ninja platformer, and the other a brawler. There's also 200-point tower defense and math training! For a little more cash, there's another Jinguuji Saburo/Jake Hunter mystery, as Arc System Works takes the Telltale path to releasing adventure games. Kirby Super Star (Super Famicom, 1-2 players, 800 Wii Points) Baraduke (Arcade, 1-2 players, 800 Wii Points) Bakutotsu Kijuutei: Baraduke II (Arcade, 1-2 players, 800 Wii Points) Amakuchi! Dairou Castle (DSiWare, 1 player, 200 DSi Points) Calculation 100 Barrage (DSiWare, 1 player, 200 DSi Points) G.G. Series Ninja Karakuri Den (DSiWare, 1 player, 200 DSi Points) G.G. Series Super Hero Ouga (DSiWare, 1 player, 200 DSi Points) Tantei Saburo Jinguuji: Drastic Move & Mysterious Case (DSiWare, 1 player, 500 DSi Points)

Though Konami still has yet to officially announce Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth for WiiWare, the title has shown up on the ESRB's database, Nintendo's release calendar and now in Famitsu ... with full release details. We're going to go ahead and call "case closed" on this one.As the name suggests, the new game is a "concept remake" of Castlevania: The Adventure for Game Boy; a game that desperately needed to be remade. ReBirth will have new enemies and altered level designs -- most notably, stairs have been implemented to replace the ropes from the Game Boy game. It'll also have new arrangements of classic Castlevania music. Like the other ReBirth games, this one is going for a faithful 16-bit look.ReBirth will be out in Japan on October 27 for 1,000 Wii Points. Nintendo's calendar gave it a "Q3 2009" date for North America, so it could be out here by Halloween as well!

The new game being teased by Koei Tecmo -- the one with the flowers? Um, yeah, it's actually about punching people: As predicted, the game's been revealed by Famitsu as Fist of the North Star Musou (officially, just Hokuto Musou, or North Star Musou) combining Koei's populous Dynasty Warriors series with the venerable manga series, and it's the smartest thing Koei has ever done with the Warriors series since the original idea. The Fist of the North Star franchise follows a martial artist named Kenshiro who wanders around a post-apocalypse Earth, using his "Hokuto Shinken" style to fight gangsters that prey on hapless innocents. Why is this series so perfect for Warriors? Because it's a well-known universe in which it's perfectly believable for one guy to beat up a couple hundred enemies with his bare fists. This license will not require much adapting in the transition to a Warriors game.Hokuto Musou, according to the magazine, will be out sometime next year on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

BioWare is planning DLC for Dragon Age Origins to stretch out over the next two years. TheGameReviews spoke with executive producer Mark Darrah, who said the DLC will include small things like "item packs," as well as "larger quests that might last an hour or two, up to even fully fledged expansion packs."Darrah expects that the DLC will make it onto all platforms, except for the mods toolset, which will likely be PC-only. We'll maintain cautious optimism about Dragon Age DLC until BioWare brings the goods to market. The developer is lucky that Mass Effect took place in space, because the lack of DLC (support and testing) certainly made us want to scream.
