Believe it or not, this is actually the very first video game magazine to come out of Venezuela! Reader Born_to_Play wanted to spread the word on ‘Gamerlife de Venezuela’, which is on shelves now. Funny, just a few months ago we were talking about video game magazines disappearing, and now we’ve seen two [...]

This girl really seems to enjoy the Super Mario World proposal. I’m guessing the video had to be cut shortly after she accepted!

There was only one song in the original A Boy and His Blob…a song which the new game pays tribute to as you make your way through. You’ve probably heard bits and pieces of this, but the whole thing is definitely worth playing! Direct link here (thanks SonikDude!)

The historical preservationists at NIS America are attempting to save the increasingly endangered beast known as the "Universal Media Disc." You probably haven't heard of the format -- your parents most assuredly have. Though we currently live in an age of incorporeal digital software, the developer is attempting to re-release its eccentric dungeon dive, Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do to Deserve This? in a limited edition UMD format -- provided enough PSP owners show interest in owning a tangible copy of the game. If over 1,000 supervillains-in-training pre-order the UMD version of Badman by November 13, NIS will go through with actually producing them, shipping out to their respective buyers in mid-December. Seems like it'll be a tough putt -- but we're sure there's 1,000 fans of both obscure strategy games and tiny, plastic-armored discs tucked away in some pocket in the internet.

Don't worry, folks -- Microsoft knows you really hate those subversive little devils making third-party Memory Units, what with their 2GB and 4GB offerings for the Xbox 360. In an effort to stamp out these Doris Dogooders from your Xbox Live Experience[TM], Microsoft's Major Nelson announced on his blog yesterday that "When Preview Program members start receiving the Xbox 360 system update next week, one of the changes is that unauthorized Memory Units will no longer work." In plain English, this means that any third-party Memory Unit you might have been using will be rendered useless. Mr. Hryb suggests moving any saves on said devices get moved to an authorized one, unless losing access to "stored profile or saves games" simply ain't no thang for you.

Yeah…I’m scratching my head for that one as well. We don’t even know how Scrabble uses the board just yet. We just have the boxart that confirms it! I can’t wait to hear more on this one.

Recent connection issues have marred European PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe owners from participating in rousing online games against North American and Asian players. Thankfully, the PlayStation Blog has released a two-part DIY guide to help fix the PSP game's issues. The process is simple: Delete your game through the PSP Home Menu (select Game>Memory Stick>press the triangle button with PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe highlighted and select Delete). Connect to PlayStation Store > Select View Downloads and re-download PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe from the Download List. Users will still retain their previous progress and now (hopefully) be completely problem free in their quest for online Deluxe dominance.

This is a just a warning to any zombies considering joining the New York City Halloween parade. Pictured above are some of the plants that PopCap will be sending to march in said parade. As you -- the zombies -- well know, these plants will most certainly assure your demise. Well, except the wall-nuts. They'll pretty much just stand there and let you eat them, but we love 'em anyway. They're just so damned cute. Dumb, but cute.

You know what’s funny? I’m seeing a bunch of lists like this…lists that take a look at some of the biggest games coming out. While that in itself isn’t weird, it’s the inclusion of Red Steel 2 that is. I believe that Red Steel 2 definitely deserves to be in there, but [...]
