AQ Interactive's Korg DS-10 Plus will make its way to North America, XSEED announced today. The update to the original DS cart (which was already super complicated) adds even more stuff for the wannabe mixer on the go -- specifically, twice as many analog synthesizers (now up to four) and drum synthesizers (now up to eight), the ability to use twelve tracks and real-time editing including "per-track MUTE/SOLO built into the SONG mode and EDIT/PLAY enabled for all modes within the SONG mode." DSi owners will also get the added perk of an extra two effects layers. The improved synthesizer suite will also have wireless functionality, allowing up to eight systems to play together or share samples and Daft Punk songs with each other.

For the longest time, we didn't understand game soundtracks. "Hey, just turn the game on and walk away," we said. But after our 17th red ring and 10th Cell chip to commit melty, plasticy suicide, we quickly began to see the value. Capcom's feeding our new habit with three new additions to the Music section of the Capcom Store: Ten Years Of Resident Evil: The Official Soundtrack, Resident Evil 5: Original Soundtrack and Street Fighter IV: Original Soundtrack. If you too are hesitant about leaping into game soundtracks, Capcom's sweetening the offer with 25 percent off the Mega Man 9 score for anyone who purchases one of the new offerings.

I think I have a new game to put in my top-ten all-time list. You know, whenever I decide to actually make such a list. Have a read of the review below, and feel free to side with me, or tell me why I’m an idiot. Either way, I hope you enjoy! [...]

As you can see, this title is reconfirmed for an Oct. 27th release date in Japan. We also see that there is Wiimote/Wiimote and Nunchuk/Classic Controller/Cube controller support, which should make everyone happy. Now let’s hope this title ends up seeing worldwide release next week!

The one bit of new information that we have on this game is a confirmation of Christopher Belmont as the main character. Really, that news with the combination of the screen above is all I really need to get me hyped!

Ever since Andrew Ryan decided to go out for that pack of smokes (our mom says he's coming back; just you wait!), there's been nobody to tend to the leaky pipes and roving packs of splicers in Rapture. Well, according to GameTrailers TV's Geoff Keighley, someone's finally decided to step in and assume the leadership role for BioShock 2, and we'll find out who on Thursday's episode. In another tweet, Keighley promised plenty of "new single player info and footage" and even teased that the episode will also reveal new characters -- something we already knew was planned for the sequel. You can catch the special BioShock 2 episode this Thursday night, October 22 at 12:30 a.m. ET on Spike.

We're not sure how to break this to you, so we're just going to say it straight up: Super Street Fighter IV is going to have an even tougher (read: cheaper) Seth than Street Fighter IV. But we've got good news alongside that: You won't be forced to fight him over and over until you unlock that last playable character, as they'll all be unlocked right from the get go!After Capcom's Seth Killian (no relation) spoke with Kotaku earlier today regarding the unbelievably cheap final boss (can you tell we're bitter?), we shot an email to him to make sure he hadn't misspoke when he said, "Seth will be even cheaper and more irritating." Killian clarified his statement for us, saying, "[SSFVI producer Yoshinori] Ono himself promised that Seth would be even more challenging ... 'cheaper' and 'more irritating' are premature since the AI isn't finished but he isn't going to be a pushover." When we wrote back, terrified that we'd never get to play the game's entire cast of characters, he reassured us that, "All characters are unlocked to start." We'll be getting our hands on SSFIV later this week and hopefully we'll get to find out just how much more difficult Seth is becoming.

Sony's Playstation Blog announced today that the two expected Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time demos will hit the PSN over the next couple weeks. The first one, releasing this Thursday, is the Clank demo (he's the robot). Players will take the bucket of bolts with a destiny through the Great Clock, as he learns some "time-based abilities" for puzzle solving.Next week will be Ratchet's turn to shake his money maker so you'll buy the game. Although the details are scarce as to what players will do in the demo, if we know anything about that lombax -- and after seven games, we certainly know plenty -- it'll involve blowing stuff up with crazy weaponry.
