If you're in the market for a Wii, perhaps as a gift for someone this holiday season, then you may want to hit up Dell. The computer company is offering the console for $179.99 (as part of a sale that expires tomorrow), complete with free 3-to-5-day shipping, on its web store. If you snag the console and, say, a Wii Fit Plus bundle, you could inspire a great holiday for someone special -- or gravely upset them by insinuating they could stand to lose a few pounds. [Thanks Matthew!]

Nintendo actually released a respectable number of downloadable games this week: 8 games across Virtual Console, WiiWare and DSiWare. You may have even heard of some of them! As far as we can tell, the highlights of the week are a DSiWare photo decoration app and the embarrassing parent of the Street Fighter series. Hit the post break and find out if any of the many offerings are what you were looking to drain your Nintendo Points on.

Lord Crump
It would be awesome if the next Mario and Luigi really did include Wario and Waluigi, but that seems unlikely

The secret apprentice returns for an encore, but has he mastered the Force yet?

The Force is indeed a little stronger this time around, but is it enough?

A LovePlus gamer took his virtual girlfriend to the ‘Love Bell’ in Guam. This bell is said to bring lovers good luck if they ring the bell together, which is what you’re seeing above. This is getting just a bit too strange for me. I guess it’s okay as long as this [...]

Looks like there are some Little King’s Story players out there, but they sure are a lot quieter than Muramasa fans. At least there are people out there that have embraced the title, even if it’s not many.

I think the idea of a Professor Layton action figure is great, but it’s also a bit silly. Just what sort of actions does Layton do? Put his hand to his chin…point a finger at people…cradle his face?!

I wonder how many Wii knock-offs we’re going to have before Nintendo moves onto their next console. I bet someone out there is going to put together a collection of these rip-off gems.
