Direct link here You can be sure that this control setup for the iPhone/iPod Touch will come to fruition, but I don’t think the Big N will be letting anyone download SNES games to these devices anytime soon.

I love the Aqua Teen Hunger Force. It was one of the first cartoons I saw on Adult Swim, back when I had no idea what the whole late-night scene was like on Cartoon Network. Now I’m hooking on the DSi, as well as the Aqua Teens. Naturally, I’m head over heals [...]

We’ve featured many an episode of The Legend of Neil on GoNintendo. It’s definitely adult, almost always offensive, and quite funny as well. While you may have really enjoyed seasons 1 and 2, it seems like season 3 is in the fate of us. If you’re looking to get a season 3 going, you’re [...]

That Mario one is nice, but the Sonic one must have made the creator go blind.

Man, we have got to get into watching Mixed Martial Arts. Not only do the sport's leagues have like, the coolest names ever, but the televised bouts also occasionally contain sneak peeks into upcoming video games. For instance, on last night's Strikeforce (so, so cool) match, the first-ever gameplay footage from EA Sports MMA was revealed. You can find it posted just after the jump. How does it look? We have no idea. There's plenty of punching and kicking, sure, and one might say these two techniques are used intermittently -- or rather, that they are mixed. Therefore, our initial, amateur analysis of the video is that reeks of authenticity. [Thanks to everyone who sent this in!]

It’s custom-made, it actually works, and it can be married with just about any console on the market. You can even play PC games with it. The only problem is, there’s only one in the entire world! Anyone else out there up to the task of making a second NEStickle?!

Metal Gear Solid clearly rips-off Short Circuit Yes, this article is a bit tongue-in-cheek. Yes, this is from our friends at Destructoid. They always manage to have weekend content that puts a smile on my face. I mean, how could you not appreciate a story that mentions Short Circuit in any way!?

I never thought this game would see a re-release. I can’t imagine the work that went into getting the rights to publish this game again. Sure to be one of the big hits on the VC, and deservedly so! Let’s hope this PEGI rating isn’t in error!

We all know that home console Zelda games take longer to develop than most small, fledgling nations -- still, we'd secretly hoped that Nintendo would pull a hat trick next year, releasing new Wii installments in the Metroid, Mario and the aforementioned Triforce-centric series. Sadly, a recent quote from Reggie Fils-Aime has made us doubtful that this scenario will be realized -- speaking on GameTrailers TV, Fils-Aime explained that Nintendo hasn't "committed to Zelda for 2010." So, feel free to keep that hope in your heart that you'll be Ganon-thwarting once more within the next 365 days -- but don't get too upset if it doesn't happen. Much like a college-aged Lothario, Nintendo's remaining non-committal. You might say the company's as free as a bird, darling -- and this bird, you cannot change.

Update: Activision shot us an email to point out that "Activision has not given any retailer permission to sell Modern Warfare 2 prior to the Nov. 10 street date. The company fully supports the Nov.10 street date." It seems that a whole mess of folks are breaking street date and selling the game early. If you snagged a copy already, enjoy!Poor, poor GameStop. As the gaming public's anticipation for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 approached critical mass, they faltered in their loyalty, and took their business to small "mom and pop" game retailers who had broken the game's street date. Fortunately for the retail juggernaut, Activision showed compassion for its plight, and agreed to let certain GameStops in a few Northeast states start selling the game before Tuesday in order to help combat these vicious local businesses. We've been receiving tips all morning from folks living in New York and Pennsylvania (and Kotaku reports Ohio as well) stating that they were able to find the game on sale at their local GameStop. If you live in one of those Northeastern states, you might want to go ahead and call your local 'Stop to see if it's one of the stores which was granted special permission. If it is, then you can go straight to hell, you lucky jerk.

Update: The episode is no longer available. This is just a quick public service announcement to remind all the Halo fans out there today that the first episode of Halo Legends is available on Halo Waypoint today. Entitled "The Babysitter," it tells the story of a squad of ODST soldiers on a mission to assassinate a Covenant Prophet. The only catch is that a Spartan has been assigned to lead the squad. ODSTs and Spartans don't necessarily get along, so things get a little complicated. The episode is only available today, so be sure to grab it quick. And remember, something related to Halo Legends will be airing on Waypoint every week, so keep an eye out for future installments.

Another trademark, and another game we saw coming a mile away. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Drum Hero hit sometime in 2010. Of course, expect subsequent sequels soon thereafter.

There has been some discussion about the background image from the latest Spirit Tracks trailer. Have we been shown the world map without even realizing it?

You know that La-Mulana is coming to WiiWare, and you’ve seen the various trailers and screens that have been published. I think this explains why the Wii didn’t get a college football game this year, even if Madden NFL 10 didn’t do so hot.

Xbox 360 owners, if you've been reading posts about 3D Dot Game Heroes, anticipating its localization with green, envy-filled eyes, first you should probably get your eyes checked -- green eyes are not normal! After that, you should rest easy, because there's a chance the game could be spinning inside your Xbox sometime in the future. My Game News Flash recently stopped by Silicon Studios to chat up producer Hiroyuki Misawa, who offered that a port is "possible," but that it's really "up to From. We're a developer, so if there's a call to make it, I believe we can do it." Hardly confirmation that a port is in the works, however should that be a future move for From Software, Silicon Studios sounds like it's willing. [Via andriasang]

We suspect that even if we started playing Sin & Punishment 2 now and kept playing until the North American release in spring of next year, we wouldn't be able to play with the kind of skill and confidence on display in this video of Stage 1. The player in this demonstration on Nintendo's site builds up a 16x multiplier immediately and hangs on to it throughout the level. In more S&P2 news, Siliconera has been translating an Iwata Asks interview with Treasure, mostly about the development of the first game for Nintendo 64, a system that "didn't work at all."
