After oodles of 2009 delays, this is one that really hurts. We're talking about a "getting bit on the finger by Charlie" level of pain here. Are you braced? OK. Two Worlds II -- which is not Two Worlds: The Temptation -- has been delayed by SouthPeak until the spring of 2010, according to GameSpot. The bigger question, of course, is, "What joke are we going to make about Two Worlds II being delayed?" We've gone back and forth, because we're worried about being too mean. We soon realized though that if you picked the joke, we wouldn't have to feel so guilty. Do our dirty work right after the break.

PS3-owning Grey Wardens of the British isles will finally have the option to enter the Dragon Age this Friday, November 20. VideoGamer reports that EA has finally confirmed DA: Origins' PS3 UK release date, which comes two weeks after the game launched on other platforms. The tardiness of the title, according to BioWare CEO Ray Muzyka, was due to certification and manufacturing issues. If you're fan of RPGs (especially those in the BioWare mold), go get Dragon Age!

Much like a dude-seeking missile dropped from an overhead predator drone, Modern Warfare 2 sales plummeted in the UK after the game's first day of availability. As you already know, the game moved 1.23 million copies on its launch day -- however, according to Chart Track's calculations, it finished off the week with a paltry 1.78 million units (for £67.4 million) sold. With pathetic figures like that, you know Activision's got to be feeling disappointed. Other UK chart staples (Wii Fit Plus, Wii Sports Resort, FIFA 10) all maintained their top 10 ranking this week -- though the list had two unfamiliar visitors who vaulted to the top of the charts on the back of a new 360 bundle: Lego Batman (which jumped from 14th place to 7th) and Pure (which sprung from 23rd place to 9th). That's quite a comeback for these two titles, though perhaps they would have fared even better had they been bundled with copies of Modern Warfare 2 instead. Don't want to grow up or pay full price for video games? A list of purported Black Friday game deals for Toys R Us has shown up online, with a few temporary price drops that may justify a late night or early morning trip to TRU on November 27. Most of the great deals are "5AM Doorbusters," which means that if you have yet to pick up Halo 3: ODST, Need for Speed Shift, or Forza 3, they'll all be $34.99 ... at 5AM. Good luck! Also marked down at that obscenely early hour: Dead Space Extraction, which most of you have yet to pick up. It'll be just $24.99. Whether any of that is worth getting up at ridiculous o'clock to fight each other over is your call. [Thanks, Pete!]

That velvet NES is outstanding. There’s not a gamer gal in the world that wouldn’t be impressed with that creation.

For those that don’t know, the man in the picture is the Tampa Bay Rays’ third baseman Evan Longoria. I didn’t know who he was, but a survey shows that he’s going to most-likely be your next cover athlete. Worth of a cover, sports fans?

Listen, we don't need to understand the primary language used in a trailer to know that it's completely awesome. After the break, you'll find a six-and-a-half-minute-long Japanese trailer for Resonance of Fate (or, as its called overseas, End of Eternity), and while we don't really understand what's being said, the video possesses plenty of the universal language: Totally rad gun ... shooting. Gun action. Firearm discharging ... coolness. Okay, there's not really a word for the video's awesome properties, but we trust that you'll know them when you see them.

Feeling a little miffed at your lack of compensation for playing 1 vs. 100? That is, unless you're one of the chosen ones, who, at some point during their lives, were anointed by unknown entity who deemed them worthy to appear in the big show. If you're not part of this esteemed group, you'll still be able to collect rewards for your playtime -- yes, we're talking about sweet 'Cheevos, the full list of which can be found after the jump. Fortunately, there's no Achievement handed out for landing in The One's seat. That might push the community's more dedicated Achievement hunters to the brink of madness.
