The Beatles: Rock Band will get a hot DLC injection tomorrow when Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band releases as downloadable content. In preparation for the arrival of these new tracks, MTV has passed along the above trailer which offers a brief sample of new tracks in the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club album mixed together with some found on the disc. In the end, the video saves us all precious time we would've had to use sampling tracks on YouTube and, inevitably, watching Pomplamoose videos.

It looks like some romance may be happening at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Two popular PlayStation mascots were seen on a date in Vienna. In this shocking video (after the break), you'll see Sackboy and Buzz shamelessly holding hands, eating lunch together, and riding the wiener risenrad. We're disgusted by Buzz's actions here. Yes, Sackboy is adorable -- but he's only one year old. Just because you're a video game celebrity doesn't mean you can get away with this kind of sickening pedophilia. Capcom recently fired off a fact sheet in our direction for Super Street Fighter IV and while most of it talks about the stuff we already knew -- additional fighters, online lobbies, car punching -- it did inform us of two new online modes for the expansion to this year's excellent brawler and hook us up with some screens of the updated lobby system.Teams of two, three and four will be able to see who's the best Hadoukener around in the new Team Battles mode, which is a "round-robin elimination" mode where "one man stays until beaten, next team member rotates in," Capcom's Chris Kramer told Joystiq. So players will be able to either control a team themselves or assign slots to other players in the room. Just don't go expecting any tagging in and out -- that only happens in other Capcom games. The other new mode is Endless mode, a one-on-one elimination mode where two players duke it out and the winner stays in the hot seat and fights the next individual queued up. If you've had any experience with DOA 4, then Endless mode is kinda like that game ... sans the ability to be a chicken in a sombrero running around a martial arts dojo.Capcom was also kind enough to include some new videos, strictly for training purposes. You can check out newcomer Juri fight T. Hawk above and, if you want some MAXIMUM gameplay footage, head past the break to see her fight Deejay.

Kmart and Sears have announced a special deal in celebration of the new Xbox Live Dashboard Update, which arrives this week. Starting November 17, the same day as the update, gamers can pick up discounted Xbox Live Gold subscription cards. Three-month cards are being knocked down from $20 to $15, while twelve-month cards are dropping from $50 to $35. Not a bad deal for gamers looking to get their online gaming on the cheap -- or those looking to give it to others for the holidays. The cards will be available only on the Sears and Kmart websites through November 21.

In a postmortem article for Game Developer magazine (excerpted by Gamasutra), 5th Cell co-founder Joseph Tringali offered some inside information about the development of Scribblenauts. The control scheme, one of the major complaints about the puzzle-adventure title, was something that 5th Cell wanted to fix in a couple of ways. However, the developer ran into time and budget constraints. "We knew this was going to take a big hit from reviewers," Tringali said, "but we could only spend a limited amount of work on it. We discussed a secondary D-pad control option midway through development only to come to the conclusion it would take a single person 3-4 weeks to integrate it. On our self-funded schedule, that route was not an option." Tringali said that to free up time to tweak the controls, another feature, like online connectivity, might have had to be lost. But when those decisions came up, it was already too late.

All of you fence-sitters out there can finally (high) stick it to the man. That's right, 3 on 3 NHL Arcade is this week's Xbox Live Deal of the Week. We realize that you were all agonizing about its 800 ($10) price point. Now there's nothing to hold you back, as it's been marked down to an icy cool 400 ($5). That's only five pucks, so skate on over to Xbox Live Marketplace and give it a try. Add NHL Arcade to your 360 download queue [Via Major Nelson]

While we're all playing New Super Mario Bros. Wii, tossing our friends into bottomless pits and reacquainting ourselves with the Koopalings, Japanese Wii owners are still waiting for the game's December 3 release date. For now, instead of the game, they get ... these commercials, featuring people dressed in inexplicable, matching bohemian outfits, playing NSMB Wii with a lot of excitement and not too much skill. Siliconera notes that the game's ostensible banner feature -- multiplayer -- is totally missing from these ads, in favor of presenting the experience as something that's easy to get into. We suppose if you're really terrible at Mario games (a plight with which we sympathize), you don't want to be reminded that other people have an easy way to witness your terribleness. Still, we think the tentative play emphasizes the sense of discovery that is so wonderful about the first trip through any Mario level. [Via Siliconera]

click to enlarge It's a strange yet true fact that portions of Moscow's underground Metro transit system were built to withstand a nuclear strike and serve as massive fallout bunkers in the event the Cold War ever got incredibly hot. In Metro 2033, based on the novel of the same name by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky, it did. What's left of Moscow's populace has been living in the Metro system for more than two decades, stations have become their own city-states and only the brave (or suicidal) venture to the surface. We recently got to take a guided tour of THQ and 4A Games' adventure FPS based on the novel and came away with a new appreciation for sunlight, fresh air and the ability for plot-driven, scripted first person games a la Half-Life to still surprise us. We'll recount what we saw after the break.

Sasuke is a very fast character with a variety of tools at his disposal. He can use fire-based attacks from the air, which prong out in three ways to cover a large amount of space. He also has many teleportation techniques to position himself around his enemy with ease. In Latent Ninja Mode, Sasuke's sword-based attacks see an increase in damage caused, so it's important to learn strings that make him unsheathe it.
