If dynamite comes in small packages, it's fair to assume that lots of dynamite comes in BIG packages. Enter: a new teaser video for the "BIG Pack," an upcoming downloadable add-on to Xbox Live Arcade's bone-breaking bike-'em-up, Trials HD. It's an explosive montage of two-wheeler stunts that fly by too quickly for the brain to process, so be sure to make use of that pause button on the video embedded after the break. Other things your brain may have trouble processing: a mischievous squirrel. He may seem an adorable little fellow, but if he's anything like the levels in Trials HD, he likely intends to murder us so often that we start to enjoy it. Just one more time! [Thanks, billymagnum]

Another ridiculous overload of content today on the Japanese Wii and DSi Shops. Not so much in WiiWare, whose only release this week is The Incredible (and incredibly avoidable) Maze, but Virtual Console and DSiWare are absolutely stuffed with games! Weirdly, there are two map-based puzzle games on DSiWare. One, Map Map! is a series of puzzle, and the other, Sekai Tanken Kokki World Map, is a quiz game. Also available: a cute puzzle game from the G.G. Series, in which you drop blocks to build a path for a character, a mini version of Paint by DS, more Jake Hunter, and a really cute game from Mother 3 developer Brownie Brown about leading a kappa along paths of coins. Chokkan! Balance Labyrinth (WiiWare, 1 player, 500 Wii Points) Final Fight Tough (Super Famicom, 1-2 players, 800 Wii Points) Yie Ar Kung Fu 2 (MSX, 800 Wii Points) Namco Quester (Arcade, 1-2 players, 800 Wii Points) Valkyrie no Densetsu (Arcade, 1-2 players, 800 Wii Points) Metal Gear (MSX, 1 player, 800 Wii Points) G.G. Series: Black x Block (DSiWare, 1 player, 200 DSi Points) Sekai Tanken Kokki World Map (DSiWare, 1 player, 200 DSi Points) Map Map! By Gotouchi Kentei DS (DSiWare, 1 player, 200 DSi Points) Artist ni Narou! Minna no Nurikai (DSiWare, 1 player, 500 DSi Points) UNO (DSiWare, 1-4 players, 500 DSi Points) Kappa Michi (DSiWare, 1 player, 500 DSi Points) Tantei Saburo Jinguuji: Chained Curse & Mystery Case (DSiWare, 1 player, 500 DSi Points)

From the initial talk of a lower price to a renaming, Bungie's ever-changing plans for Halo 3: ODST left a lot of people confused as to what the final product would be. "I'm no PR expert, but it's pretty obvious the game had a series of stumbles; from the naming, to the initial E3 2008 countdown reveal failure, and finally pricing ... it would definitely be nice to have a do-over for the game introduction," senior designer Lars Bakken told G4TV in a recent interview. "The big takeaway for us is just to never comment on matters that are outside of our control," added community manager Brian Jarrard. The subject of ODST becoming an "expansion pack," however, was never an arguable point to executive producer Curtis Creamer. "Though ODST was built from the Halo 3 engine, there were enough changes made to the engine that we could not have released it as an expansion in the way that you might equate with a PC game expansion pack ... the ODST executable is not compatible with Halo 3." The crew of Bungie devs also reconfirmed that "there are currently no plans for any ODST DLC," with all of the studio's resources tied up with Halo: Reach. Hopefully, our thirst for more Firefight maps will be quenched by the inclusion of the mode in future Halo games -- a prospect to which the developers responded, "Only time will tell." Do it for us, Bungie! Please?

Game Informer's next issue is going to shed some eerie, bluish-greenish light on the just-announced Dead Space 2, but they're already showing off a new look for lead miner/Necromorph killer Isaac Clark. While we question the wisdom of worrying about fashion in the middle of Necromorph onslaught, we can't argue it's not a snappy look. While we're thinking of it, is anybody else getting a total Guyver vibe from the new duds? No? Just us? Fair enough.

Perhaps this electrobolt may spark your interest in returning to Rapture in the sequel to the highly successful Bioshock.

Three brief new trailers for No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle have appeared online, each highlighting a different aspect of the game. The first trailer (after the break), from GoNintendo, shows off the cute retro-themed job minigames that Grasshopper has added for Travis's second outing. There's some kind of motorcycle racing game, a training game in which you kick weights back at your trainer, and ... oh, no. A plumbing game that's like the bane of our existence, Pipe Dream. Great. The second trailer, from IGN, features quick clips of fighting from all three playable characters (plus Jeane the cat! Plus NSFW language). The third, from 1UP, features Shinobu being really creepy.

If you've been desperately wanting to live the luxurious life of a virtual DJ, but lack the finances required to do so, fret no longer -- GuitarHeroStore has temporarily knocked the price of the Wii, PS3 and 360 versions of DJ Hero down to $79, and the PS2 version of the game to $64. That even includes free shipping, which is good, since plastic turntables probably cost more than your average parcel to transport cross-country. Make sure you enter in the coupon code "DJHPP1" while checking out in order to access the offer. Otherwise, you'll end up paying full price for the game, losing out on $20 you could've spend on other disc jockey accessories. Like oversized headphones! Or LED-infused robot helmets. Lance Henriksen, who was most memorably cleaved asunder as android (ahem, "artificial lifeform") Bishop, will see another continuation of his Aliens film role in Rebellion's Alien vs. Predator game. Henriksen plays Karl Bishop Weyland, the descendant of Weyland-Yutani corporation founder Charles Bishop Weyland. The 69-year-old actor is happy with his virtual likeness (seen above) and is quoted as saying, "I might score from this game!" Joystiq is quoted as saying, "Maybe if it's from a facehugger, Lance." Considering Henriksen's appearance in one of the most gore-riffic scenes in film (at the time), we should reiterate that Aliens vs. Predator will release in February 2010 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC -- in countries that don't require toned-down violence. Rebellion has stated that it will not be "releasing a sanitized or cut down version for territories where adults are not considered by their governments to be able to make their own entertainment choices." Sorry, Australia and Germany.
