Hmmm…I wonder how that booth babe feels about that camera. Perhaps the camera man is just shooting the logo of the company developing the title.

In its ongoing support of Left 4 Dead 2 on the PC, Valve has issued another patch for the game, fixing a number of problems including physics crashes and hit boxes on the Charger, Jockey and Spitter. Some of the exploits PC gamers have stumbled upon have also been eradicated, including incapped survivors improving their weapon accuracy by holding the crouch button -- though we wouldn't call that an exploit so much as a natural evolution in the face of the zombie threat. Good, old-fashioned human ingenuity is what will win us this war, people! You can head past the break for the full patch notes. An update for the Xbox 360 will be available "later this month."

A Sunday release for Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver certainly seems plausible to me. Nintendo does multiple Sunday/Monday launches for their biggest games. This is not a confirmation by any means, but Amazon has a very good track record with these sort of things. Thanks to Supa_S for the heads up!

Nothing more than a trademark for the name ‘Robodojo’, as PopCap isn’t ready to talk about details on this game just yet. I’m sure it will be yet another easy to understand, hard to master, and super-addictive game that will eventually land on a multitude of platforms.

Long before Tetsuya Nomura drew the spiky haired silhouette of Final Fantasy VII's Cloud Strife, one man defined the artistic style of Square's esteemed RPG franchise: Yoshitaka Amano. While Amano is still actively involved in the franchise (by creating the backdrops for all the Final Fantasy logos, specifically), some hardcore fans miss seeing his unique sensibilities applied towards the series' character designs. The latest Famitsu (via Siliconera) shows Amano's interpretation of the cast of Final Fantasy XIII. While hardcore fans can argue over which character designer is superior, we wonder: would Amano's art look right when rendered in 3D?

Terrifying video game news site Rely On Horror claims to have recently gotten its hands on the next issue of Game Informer, which contains a pretty comprehensive breakdown of the new methods of Necromorph murder featured in Dead Space 2. According to the site, the Informer article reveals that the game's designers are trying to make the game spookier, placing hero Isaac Clarke (who learned the ability to speak between games, it seems) in more death-defying situations, and likely a few impossible-to-defy-death situations as well. According to the report, the game's action has moved off of the Ishimura, instead placing Clarke on the similarly monster-infested interstellar city Sprawl, which dwarfs the original game's setting in size. Finally, the article supposedly ends with the developer dropping the following tease regarding multiplayer: "All I can say is it's really fun, and you'll get to strategically dismember your friends." Oh, man -- Bushido Laser-Saw confirmed! Or, rather, it might be confirmed. There's no way to tell for sure until we get our hands on the Clarke-covered magazine. [Via VG247]
