An Insomniac Games forumite named Paul Grzelak recently completed the labor of love you see above -- a stainless steel Scrabble tile set using the Lombax language from the Ratchet & Clank series. The set came about as a collaboration between Grzelak and Insomniac's Paul "Pacman" Haile -- a collaboration that not only resulted in the tiles seen above, but also in the formalization of the Lombax language, for which Grzelak received an in-game credit in A Crack In Time. Neat story, right? If you were hoping to get your hands on a set of these tiles for ... some bizarre reason, you're out of luck. Grzelak only made 25 sets, one of which went to Insomniac. We'd be willing to bet the other 24 are still proudly displayed in his swingin' bachelor's pad. [Thanks, Steliosco]

I like Nyko’s products, and have good luck with them in the past. I even bought one of their wireless nunchuks, which I thought was great. With all my interest in the company’s products, why do I find myself so scared to buy a Wiimote from them? The Wand+ is very very [...]

Boing! Docomodake DS is a blast! It’s short though, which makes it perfect for a bargain bin pickup. You can find the game for next to nothing right now, and I really hope you take advantage of that. I never expected the game to be a hit, so you might as well [...]

Level-5's fab football RPG franchise, Inazuma Eleven, could be headed to the United States if a recent trademark is any indication. According to Siliconera, the US trademark crucially covers "video game discs," along with arcade machines and, er, cellphone straps. There's no telling if Level-5 will move beyond a mere trademark and carry out its goal of bringing the game to America, nor is there telling which of the Inazuma Eleven games are under consideration (none of the cellphone strap blogs have to worry about this stuff). We'd normally be inclined to share some of our own long-winded theories, but the last thing you need is for us bore you with our ceaseless puntification. Alright, that was bad. We appreciate the helpful tips provided in the Dark Void trailer you see above, which instructs its viewers on the many options afforded to them when it comes to staving off hordes of robotic assailants. Like, it's great to know that we can choose between popping between cover points on the ground or fly through the air using a futuristic hover pack, shooting dudes as we float. However, who in their right mind would ever exercise the first option when the second is available? Check out the video above to see the dichotomy in motion, and don't forget: The only time you shouldn't go with the hoverpack is if there's an even cooler jetpack somewhere nearby.
