This is the time during game development that I both love and hate. We know that Zelda Wii is in development, but other than a few tidbits from the gang at Nintendo, we really don’t know anything about this title. What will it look like, sound like, play like? What new innovations [...]

Always Keep Some Candy on Hand Both, isn’t that the truth. You never know when you’ll come across your own alien blob. I can only imagine what blob would do if you brought him a box of Jelly Belly jelly beans! So many flavors, so many items to make!

The excitement over those two Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker PSP bundles was tempered somewhat by the fact that they were revealed in one tiny, blurry magazine scan. Now that Konami has released images of both camo PSP sets, nothing is stopping us from our blissful retail fantasies. Can't you just imagine buying one? Like the Portable Ops packs before them, these are two different bundles. The ¥26,980 (~$295) "Premium Package" includes a PSP-3000, Peace Walker, a camouflage cleaning cloth (so you can remove fingerprints from the screen incognito), a carrying case, and a wrist strap. The ¥36,980 (~$400) "Konamistyle Package" (pictured above), only available from Konami's website, includes the same PSP and cleaning cloth, a leather case and strap, a neat-looking, numbered PSP stand, numbered dog tags, and a booklet. What we’re trying to do with RUNNER is make a rhythm platform game. That genre, if you will, really only has one other entry as far as I know. We’re going to be adding a lot more to this game. There’s going to be multiple characters – not playable characters, but we are going [...]

Majesco's Let's Draw is ridiculously cute. Chances are it won't be as cute in untrained hands, but that's no reason not to try! Let's Draw combines minigames with Drawn to Life-style customization -- it's part drawing book, part game -- and adorability varies (based on the player's skill). Kids (and yes, this is for kids) draw and color images as prompted by the game, which are then animated in minigames like Whack-a-Mole and Air Hockey. Let's Draw also includes simple drawing lessons, based on a Japanese drawing book series. Drawn to Life was a big success for THQ -- we'll see how this younger take on the idea works out for a somewhat bruised and beaten Majesco when the game releases this March for $19.99.

I remember a lot of the tracks from Dr. Mario, but not this one. I guess I never left the ‘victory’ screen on too long, or I just didn’t win very often! It’s more likely the second reason, since I really don’t like Dr. Mario!

You have officially run out of excuses for not purchasing Capybara's hyper-cute PSN puzzler, Critter Crunch. Amazon.com is currently selling game codes for half off the usual $7 price -- that's only $3.49! It's likely that the PlayStation Store will also price-match this deal when it updates later today. But do you want to risk missing out on one heck of a deal? We think not. Update: Burn Zombie Burn is also on sale for half off the usual $10 price. That's $5! [Via @superpac]

We may not have been huge fans of Left 4 Dead 2 (except for Xav!), but you might be tempted to try it for yourself through Amazon today where you can pick up this Deal of the Day for just $35 on Xbox 360 or $28 on PC. Additionally, Amazon's Gold Box is featuring video game Lightning Deals throughout the day. Currently, the standard edition of Fallout 3 is going fast (for $18), but seven more deals are queued up. We only have hints as to what they'll be -- the next one sounds a heckuva lot like Assassin's Creed II -- but if "the original zombie killing hit" teased for 5PM ET today doesn't turn out to be the Amiga/DOS classic Horror Zombies from the Crypt, somebody's getting sued for false advertising. [Update: the current deal is Assassin's Creed II for $38.98.] [Thanks, Goldenchild]
